- KathyI recived a call on my cell phone from "Jason" at 205 747 1694 telling me they had an important message and not to disregard the call.
They said call us at 800 844 5279
I did, they asked for a Wanitta Parker, I do not know who that is but a year or so ago when I got this phone number I recived bill collector calls for her.
So far they have not called back- Caller: Not mentions
- Houston replies to SwtDrmzT-mobile several times called my hm and lied @ everything . I told the man that I had already called a rep a t-mobile and did not have an acct with them. T-mobile rep stated to call the police next time I received a call from T-moblie it is a fraudulent call and needs to be reported to the police. These people are misrepresenting T-mobile to get money.

- doesitmatter replies to Debra Blakei've always wondered why, if the call is SO important, a recording calls, rather than a live person...and if it is important, don't ask me to hold either....my time is IMPORTANT
- SpareMeI received dozens of recorded messages from 1-800-844-5279, until I called them back. They are Amsher 205-313-2624, a collection agency. Claimed I owe a $40 medical bill. They asked for social secutiy number and birthdate. I told them my insurance pays all my medical bills and to send me the information about what insurance paid and why there is still a balance. They claim they do not have ANY information and I have to prove I do not owe it. I don't have to prove a dam thing. They called me names and hung up. I called them back 12 times in 30 minutes to call them names and hang up on them. I asked for their home numbers so I can call their homes and call them names and hang up on them. I have not been able to stop them from calling me, but I will, and I can garantee it will not be pleasant for them. FILE THE INSURANCE STUPID!!!!!!!!
DO NOT give your personal information to someone you do not know. Force them to validate the debt in writing. By law they have to quit calling if a debt is in dispute. Record their calls, after you tell them to stop calling you can sue them for $1000.00 per call.- Caller: Amsher

- Jim WellsI received a message on my cell from 800-246-9590 stating Ms. Nelson had an important message for me. She wanted me to return the call to...you got it..the same number everyone else is being phoned by, 800 844 5279. I phoned the number and told her who I was and had received a call from them. She then attempted by asking me to verify as to who I was. I refused and stated I didn't know who she was. Then came on the Nasty attitude as if she'd got her panties up in a wad! I just said "BYE" as she hung up on me. LMBO! This came in just after I had spend over 3 hrs with Suntrust Bank after I found they allow unethical billing on Debit Cards; expecting their banking customer's to sit like vultures over their own accounts to prevent such billings. It's your job to phone your bank when something goes wrong with your account. And like the supervisor stated to me today, if we all paid by cash, we wouldn't have to be concerned with such dibble dable.
Walmarts had billed and credited my account with the same debit amount "5" different times over a 4 day period, using different approval codes on the charges. Isn't it amazing how Walmarts Continues to grow? How many times do you check your ticket? You can't get a refund from the checkout stand when you've been overcharged because of their lack up updating the prices in the computer system. You have to go all the way down to "Customer Service" and stand in line again; while your cold goods heat up along with you. The Auto Service is a wanna be service center and when you need some help in another department, no one can be found without walking out of the department your in; just to find them. After speaking with the Accounting Dept. today for over an hour regarding the Walmart billing problem, she told me it was my banks fault and to phone them. Customer Service in this country is the reason we're talking to Asians, Mexicans as well as every other country looking for a boost in income.
So heads up! Keep your eyes on your business. Slow down the progress of that transaction and pay cash or check next time your at the check out stand. You'll get a refund placed in your hand when returns have to be made. And you won't have to watch your account online to see if it's all working out. Maybe it will instill some patients in everyone again.- Caller: Unknown
- Reporting them to FTCCall on my cell from "Jessica" at 205-313-2624 and I let it go to VM since I didn't recognize the number, even though originated from an area code (Birmingham, AL) in which I have family. (Almost tricked me into answering that way). "Jessica" said "this is not a sales call" but she "has an important message" and asked to call her back at 800-844-5279. Never said WHO she was calling (me, family member, or some random stranger), or what business she was representing or otherwise. I am NOT going to call back even to ask what it is about for fear of a scam (as appears likely).
I only give out my cell to family, my childrens' schools, and family doctors. On RARE occasion, I will give it out to a local business a la, give me a call when my stuff (dry-cleaning, prescription etc). is ready, not as a generic, means of communication by some random company. So, even if it were a collection call, it could not be valid for me as they would not have my cell number. As we don't use T-Mobile, it can't be them either.
The only possible collection we might have is a nightmare situation with our home phone with AT&T, which I disputed with them, BBB, FTC, AND the lawyer's office (in MS) who tried to collect. (They tried to bill us for services that were never ported over and for services we had but had canceled). In any case, they wouldn't have had our cell numbers either.
I agree that if ANY call is so important, you at LEAST should identify: 1) who you are calling and 2) where you are calling from and 3) the specific nature of your business (e.g. calling regarding x overdue bill). This is BASIC phone etiquette, for professionals and laypersons alike.
And, I am 100% NOT going to answer a recording. My time is too valuable to sit and wait for a live person to get on the phone when THEY called ME and have not expressed the nature of their call. What I love is when a recording calls, I let it go to the answering machine, and a few minutes later the fool caller (live person) jumps on and is like, "hello? hello?!" Idiots!- Caller: Jessica, no company name
- Ms. Jae replies to PriscillaMy representative didn't identify herself but commenced to get into an argument when I told her that I spoke with T-mobile and will resolve my debt with them directly. She told me that it wasn't my decision and that I was lying. I just hung up and I am preparing a Cease and Desist letter to stop the calls today. As consumers we do NOT have to do business with collection agencies and they get irate when you tell them this. The number was different but the same old hassle. : 800-246-9590.
- RaminSame Story here the person told me they were collection agancy and when I said Emergancy Dr should have my insurace information and file with them she wanted my insurace information which i was not willing to give personal information to fourth party invoveld with this emergency room visit.
Clear Lake Hospital has a bad name for service now this. How could a hospital don't ask for insurace info.
any way they are bad news.- Caller: Unkown

- wabrecieve daily calls from this number.there is a way to fight back u still have payphones in your city.800 calls are free from almost all payphones, find one and call this number, when they answer say nothing.do this several times a day.also have family and friends do this.all subscribers to 800 numbers are charged a fee for each call recieved and some of these fees are paid to the payphone provider.be sure to call the collection agency to let them know of your plan.
- JohnnyBGoodWhat a crock. These companies really need to just start getting honest. Someone called and I keep this webpage open. I asked, "who is calling" and she would not tell me. So, I typed in the number and said, "is this Amsher?" "Yes", she replied. Wouldn't give me any more info b/c they asked for someone else in this household. So it wasn't TMobile. Funny how these people will let their automated system call my home 16 times today and just not bother to leave a message. SOME people DO return phone calls IF we think we need to pay a bill. There are still HONEST people in this world.....so stop harassing the good ones before you get in return what you put out into the world.
