this number keeps calling several times a day.  leaves no message.  Finally my wife picked it up today and told them they were on the do not call list and not to call back again.  they kept insisting to speak with me (not her) and would not tell her any info.  she asked to speak with the supervisor and that was the end of the conversation.  they never gave her the supervisor.

It was from a collection agency and name was Chuck and extension was roads. As he said his agency name I thought may be one of the employer responded to me because he was strict on talking to me.
He started saying that I have medical bill and which I think already paid. He asked me I have to pay right away either credit card or checking account. Before that call, got a call from India and they were trying to sell Educations Scholarship, their accent was as good as an American but the background was noisy and the language they were talking was different than English.

I mention that and said over the phone I can not pay a penny, he was forcing me and wanted right away. I told him send me a letter he told me they have send it on 24. I told him that I have not received any letter and I insisted that either send me another letter and then I will act on it. Over the phone I can not do anything , he was hustle and trying to force me to pay right away. I asked him , give me the   web site and the account number I will think of it. He told me that he does not have web site to pay for it.

I think people find out your paper or online trail and trying to make money out of it. I told him that I do not carry any credit card and I do not have bank account. Then he asked me go to somewhere and make money order and call me back. He is a debt collector but not sure he was guanine because he was very hostile and ordering me one after another what to do.

How to figure out it if this guy was trying to get may bank and credit card information???

They keep calling throughout the day and will not leave messages.  I have not had this number for long.

I talk to somebody in person and he wanted me to pay right away, give credit card number or checking account number.
To make the conversation sort I said I do not have both, then he asked me to go to the USPS and get a money order and send it.
I clearly asked him to send me a letter so I can act on it, keep telling me they sent it last week.

I am getting different call and different promotion and even free services you name yourselves. I can not pay or give money over the phone and it says it is Alliance , collection agency. If this company sends me letter then I can review and do my action.

Alliance is the name of this company , do you owe any money and trying to collect debt? I talk to them later.
I told them Send me another letter then I can send money otherwise there is nothing I can do over the phone.
As other guy said, people are trying sell and stole our identity over the phone and once it is gone, we will have worst nightmare. We do not want to invite unwanted trouble.

I blocked this number, comcast, verizon at&t all have those features .

Got a call......she was RUDE. I did not identify myself.....but did ask, WHO IS THIS? She would not say.........but was rude & had a tone to her voice AND HUNG UP ON ME!!!  

I CALLED BACK....got the same woman & told her off.  To the best of my knowlwdge...I have no outstanding medical bills and I will be damned if Im gonna put up with these calls! BLOCKING THIS NUMBER!!!!!

I RECEIVED A CALL ABUT A HOUR AGO FROM THIS SAME NUMBER..  I ASK WHO IT WAS AND SHE SAID "JILL"  SO I SAID , JILL , WITH WHO?  AND ALL SHE WOULD SAY IS " A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION"   WOULD NOT IDENTIFY WHO SHE WAS CALLIN FROM.. SO I SAID IM REPORTIN YOU TO THE FTC AND THE BBB AND THE GOVENORS FRAUD LINE, AND SHE HUNG UP.

It's a debt collector.  When asked how I intend to resolve the debt, I told them I intended to hang up.

They called again.  I refused to verify my address, telling them I think they are trying to take my identity.  This time, they hung up.

These people are liars, beraters and I'm going to file a suit for harassment -and file compliants everywhere else to put this on record. I do owe a debt to a Hospital - through which I had made payment arrangements for a surgical procedure PRIOR to agreeing to the procedure. I had paid, as requested, a very large portion upfront with arrangements. I asked prior to the surgey and agreeing to have it done at that time that I be disclosed all costs. Post surgery bills started pouring in for procedures and ancillary services I had no knowledge of - some were billed both to my medical insurance carrier and to me. Next thing I know I'm getting calls from these loser horror stories for human beings. I did make arrangments with them as they refused to revert my account back to the hospital even though I had made payments - and I have honored them out fo respect for the surgeon and his practice-yet they call my cell incessently. When I pick up there's no one and then a hang up. The few times I was able to get back through on a "dial back" they tell me "We didn't call you- you called us"  It's maddening. I have proof of the incoming calls on my cell for which they claim they have not called.and they YELL that they did not call!!!  I have proof of the monthly payments (cashed checks) as agreed that they told me this morning I have not paid and demanded a settlement. They will not send statements indicating payments and corresponding balances. I do NOT trust them as they ask for my birth date and address to authenticate me AFTER they've called me. There HAS to be recourse for this maddening harassment. I am so surprised that this prestigious University Hospital would utilize such low lifes for this action - I have met my arrangements initially and now with their designated henchmen.  This one I will NOT roll over for.
