This # has called me 10 times in 2 hours. I want it to stop!

Call them back and request to be removed from their call list.  Took me less than a minute.

Do not listen to ones that say "call them back."  That puts you on a legitimate list that they can now sell to other companies.  That is why they do not speak when you answer most of the time.  Report the numbers to the National Do Not Call Registry and with enough reports in a short period of time, they will be investigated and fined severely.  They are not following rules when they call you so they will not follow rules when you ask them to stop.

21ST CENTURY AUTO INSURANCE For online rate quotes.  They dialed the wrong number and I pretended to be the right person to get more information, then said that the person was acutally not available until midnight. LOL

YEH! DUH! The MOST annoying part is when you DON'T answer the phone because you KNOW it's a telemarketer (800 # or otherwise) & they constantly ring your # anyway, even 1 minute after last call & keep it up for (13 calls in 3 1/2 hrs from 4 different #s we got on 6/5/13)! At 80 yrs of age we need this like another hole in the head. I just finally had to quit my important task & go outside for awhile. This is downright STUPID that this is going on.& with so little effort of the ROBO calling the telemarketers use. I'm sure they get paid per call they make NOT actual contacts cause most people DO NOT answer their calls. Which I never do for all the good that does also. This #800-850-2792 is from 21 Insurance Ce (Century) per CID & called at 12:51, 1:11, 1:32pms 6/5/13 til my husband picked ph up & told them NOT to call our # again, that he was tired of hearing ph ring & he wasn't speaking kindly. Certainly there can be some solution to this stuff, if the BIG-WIGS had to put up with it too (in Wash DC). We can only hope!

You are right on the button! No doubt about it, the DoNotCall list is a FARCE! Our ph #s ARE being SOLD for a fact as a former telemarketer TOLD me they did just that! And 1 person gets your # & it then spreads like WILD FIRE, So we peons don't stand a chance in getting away from these calls. Just when I thought I had conquered the problem of these calls, by NOT answering ph, I had only been given a rest for a few months by getting occasional ones. Til today when got 13 calls in 3 1/2 hrs. See my post above for more info on this #800-850-2792.

This was from a subsidery of Farmers Insurance, looking for someone else.  I advised them to remove my number and place me on their DON NOT CALL LIST.  I also advised them that I was not to be contacted again as I was on the National Do Not Call List.  The woman argued with me.  
I definately would not use Farmers for anything after that,.

Our cell numbers are unlisted and on the 'do not call' list.  this number called me twice in a row, then right after that called on my spouses cell number too.  Its a scam.  one of the calls they left message saying we requested a quote.  we did not request any quote at all.  Scam scam scam!  the number that called said centrty 21.   but the on the one message they left-it said to call a totally different number which is 8778454886.  Its a scam-ignore if it calls you and report it.

I wish I had known. I did call 21st Century Insurance yesterday for a quote. I then told the lady that I couldn't do the high pressure, pay you now for insurance that didn't expire until next month, even for a $50 VISA gift card. So, today I get a call from them, no ID, which is why I am here.

Please remove me from your call list.  I do not want you to call anymore.

Don't sign up for multiple insurance quotes online, this number wont leave you alone after you do!

Called three times this morning at 9:17, 9:35, and 9:58. Caller ID says Toll Free Srve.

That's what I do too. And - here's a clincher it seems no one thinks to do - press answer, then hang up right away. That way, they can't leave a voice mail, and the auto dialer also won't call you right back, since it registers as an answered call! ;-)

I am already on the no-call list, but they call anyway

They keep calling me every 15 minutes after I tried to obtain an email quote!!!
