These people have called me 2-3 times a day - not every day - say they have an "insurance quote"... when I try t call back...they won't answer

Thank YOU so much for sharing this info about 800-850-2792. Sure enough I asked for a rate quote, and AIG (aka 21st) was one of those who replied. I sure hope like H*E*double-hockeysticks that they don't start using alternate numbers otherwise who can block them? Which i will attempt anyway, it's worth a shot, but I am dismayed that they think they can get away w/ it.

Oh? and the real kicker? their quote SUCKED! it was the WORST of the 4 or so that I received a quote from -- LIKE DOUBLE the average quote of other insurers.

This is second time 800-850-2792 has called here today. They do not leave a message. Our home phone # is unlisted, and has been blocked, sure wish they would stop. We pay extra money to have a unlisted number.

most newer phones like the ever popular iPhone have gotten rid of that ability.

started getting calls this morning.never requested an insurance quote from anywhere and didn't put my phone number in anywhere. how did they get it?

I got a call from them just a few minutes ago in response to "the quote I requested online today."


My policy with them ended in March when I switched to another company, and I haven't requested any quotes, online or otherwise, from anyone since then!

i too got a quote from 21st this morning, and have already received 3 calls. it's not even 3 pm yet.  i only went to your website for a quote.  if i were interested in purchasing your high priced insurance, i would have done it online when prompted with the "Buy Now" button.  I also got quotes from Esurance, Progressive, and Geico and have not received a call from any of them.  This is reason enough for me to go with one of these companies over 21st

It's 21st Century Insurance. And their quote is $130 more than what I'm paying GEICO.

Oh. I forgot to mention this. To get off of their caller list, go to the email that they may have sent to you and click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom.

oops, anything I've written is incorrect as I found out that the caller was most likely AIG. I wrote an email to them to please not call me.

I'm back! Talking about this phone number again. I decided to answer the phone in a calm tone. The call came from 21st Century Insurance. I asked for their phone number and I was giving another number. 877-845-4886

So, I calmly said to the woman that I did not request to receive a phone call. and then I said to her that I want her to do two things for me and she was very patient. I said. #1 to please email the information to me because I only want online communications. #2 please remove me from your calling list and not call me again.

She then said that I won't get the discounts that I wanted, but I said that I only want online communications and I said that if I continue to receive phone calls, I will contact the government DO NOT CALL list. She was agreeable.

I think that's the best way to handle these calls. Although I think I should have asked the woman out on a date instead. lol

Why did you people enter your phone number and not expect to be called?  I never enter my phone number on these.  I don't enter someone else's phone number, because I don't want them to get calls either.  Usually, I just enter 888-888-8888.  Most sites take that without error.  Think people!

Well, I did request a quote from 21st Century..  (Hence the user name)  It was about the same as I am paying now, so I left the site.  In <5 minutes, they were calling my cell. I blocked it - hope it works.  Thanks to all who posted the ID.

If I know who you are or if you leave a voice mail then I will decide if and when I will call you back. I do not appreciate you running up my cell bill with your calls that leave no message nor any identification. If you are doing honest business, then use a human to call and leave a message when there is no answer!

it is not the insurance companies. IT IS THE SAME [***] DOING THE PAYDAY LOAN SCAMS. they call from different numbers to see what time you answer the phone! They then call back stating that you owe money for a bogus payday loan.  This has been going on for several years now! Do not give any money! don't even answer your phone. All state and gov. agencies have stated they can't do anything about it (so you have to live with it). There is plenty of info on 800 notes and other web sites.
