I have been getting a call from 401-228-1697 from a lady named Heidi from Speedy Cash in regards to an important business matter, telling me to call 800-856-2911. I called it and it didn't ring. I believe this is a hoax. I applied for a loan awhile back and it didn't go thru, I spoke to a gentleman from the original company that assured me they had the wrong acct info so it would be returned back to them if deposited into the wrong acct and in a few days, I could apply again if I needed a loan. I chose not to go through with it, never got the original loan and never reapplied. I encourage everyone, no matter how desperate you are to not apply online... because I am been the victim of fraud... and they do not stop calling... I have even gotten a call from a guy Justin, claiming to be from Cash Net USA, who called me 5 times w/in 1 min, when I finally decided to answer the pho. I had explained to him I was not interested in applying, that I already had a loan, and they can't give out additional loans on top of one another, to remove my # and not call again, since I was getting multiple calls daily from him. I then spoke to him 2 times later, the same guy calling claiming to be from the same company in the next two days. By now, I was becoming irate, because it is against the law to call someone again if they tell you not to and to put you on the Do Not Call list. He was foreign, I asked him to put an American Supervisor on the pho..he put me on hold for a couple mins, then discon'd...I proceeded to call back the same # and got the same Justin character... (which, I am sorry but from working by experience in a call center, for a large, legit company, and I am not a collector, I work in customer service, ...you don't get the same person every time), I asked again for a supervisor and wanted to know why they don't make a note that I stated not interested and to not call again and remove #, he put a different guy on, that said hello and then the line discon'd. I then looked at my current acct info thru the real Cash Net USA, w/an 800#, and the lady said there is a lot of scams/fraud out there and it sounds like I was a victim of it, because they hadn't called or spoke to me since Dec of last year. So do not put your number online and never apply for a loan w/a company online, unless you have had lns and trust the company in the past. Period... Good luck all!

Do not take a loan with this company they will not tell u when ur done paying them. They will continue to try to take money out of ur account.

called here also, demanded payment for a loan we don't have.  Probably the previous owner of this phone number.  She did have a sexy voice and demanded to see her photo.

If they threaten you with legal action its against the law.

I received calls lately from these people at Speedy Cash claiming I owed money. I hav never so much as set foot in any of their businesses and never asked for or received any loan from them. They told me they will continue the collections calls. This is criminal and needs to be stopped.

They ID themselves as Rapidcash/Speedycash.  Claim to have a HQ in Kansas.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy

heidi from calling about a loan

800-856-2911 called my cell phone and Heidi with Speedy Cash left a message to return call which I did not return her call.  This number calls my cell phone at least twice each day.  I do not answer the call and they do not leave a message.   I live in an extremely remote part of the country and have never heard of Speedy Cash or even know where company is located.  Thank you to everyone for letting me know this phone number is a scam.   I have now blocked this number from my phone.

Calling my cell phone that is a private line and not given to anybody but family members.  We do NOT patronize such companies who are not legitimate businesses.  Such lending companies who are legalized loan sharks.  Cease calling my cell number.

Heidi is an automated robot

They keep calling & a "Heidi" leaves a message. But we've never taken out a payday loan or anything like that, so I have no idea how they got my number or why they'd keep bothering us.

We are on the Do Not Call list and have received multiple messages from "Heidi"- called to let them know they had wrong # & to please stop calling.  The girl said ok after asking for our phone #.  Still continuing to receive calls daily!

I fell for it awhile back, they won't make good on their threat. They're just trying to scare people into giving them money...  If you want to make sure it's legit, tell them you want them to mail you a statement or a letter...

Speedy Cash-scammmmmm

I received a call from them every other day 2-3x a day for the last month. I'm assuming they received my information when I applied for an auto loan for my Nissan Rogue . I have my new car but certainly didn't apply through Speedy! I called Transunion they stated a lot of companies can get your information for pre-screened offers. I kept getting calls from "Heidi" on my business line at work. It said she was from speedy cash and she was calling about an important business matter. I called them back, they asked for my first and last name. All I said is that we are a business and kept getting calls from them. That's the only information I gave and she said, "ok hold on and I will mark it as a wrong number. You will no longer get calls from us, sorry about the mixup." So maybe if you do that they will stop calling you too.
