I was given this 1800 number for "toll free Customer service" and the cryptic message "14H6" when I tried to dial the personal telephone number of an individual connected with our organization.

I got a call from this number when my Qwest was working on my parents' long distance line (which wasnät working). From googling, it seems like this number belongs to Qwest/MCI long distance, think it might be a customer service number.

For the past week or fr so, when I try to send a FAX I get a message telling me to call this number for toll free customer service. My FAXes don't go through. It may be dependent on the FAX number I am calling. I have been able to send FAXes successfully to an 877 "area code". I have never knowingly signed up for Qwest. It is interesting that one of the options given when calling the subject number is "if you have been assigned to Qwest by mistake...". I am calling tomorrow when the office is opened.

This company is unethical, my service was changed without my permission, then I received a 156.00 bill for long distance calls.  I called the company and they discontinued the service.  When I went to make a long distance call I was referred to this 800-866-1020 number, which no one answered, just referred to another number.  Be very aware of the practices that these long distance companies are using.  They can change your service with your long distance provided with a click of a switch and you will not be aware this is happening until you received a bill a month later.

When trying to make a local outgoing call this message saying, "For customer service call this number 800 860 1020" answers.  I called it back and it was Century Link?

The same thing happened to me twice.  Once I was trying to reach customer service for Avon and was given this number.  A few days later, I was trying to call the U.S. Dept of Justice and was given the same number.  It's for "Century Link".  What's the deal???

They have ruined my long distance service.  I cannot make any long distance calls because when I finish dialing their message comes on saying to call 800-866-1020 for customer service.  I have been trying to get AT&T to reinstate my long distance for 4 days now and still they haven't done it.  I have gone through 5 verifications calls to get my AT&T long distance back, but still nothing.  I did not request my long distance to be changed and did not go through any verification process to have it changed.  Who even knows who this company is?  I'm tired of spending everyday calling AT&T and will probably change their service if I ever get this straightened out.

Am signing in here as "Anonymous" because I don't know if this may be some weird scam.
I have been trying to call my aunt's cell phone number off and on for about a month.  An automated voice response gives this 800 860 1020 number.  Am worried because I am unable to reach her and she must be wondering why I am not calling her.

Do you have no other way to reach her? If she's wondering why you aren't calling her, why doesn't she call you? And who is "Lumen Repair"?
