Called my new number. I didn't answer, and no message was left.

received a message from this number and they didn't identify themselves other than to return the call.  This number doesn't have a business or person listed to it per Yellowbook.com

Same experience as me on 7/16/08. Caller turned out to be Ford Credit

Yes, it was Ford Motor Credit!  Got the same call... did not say company, just that his name was Ted.

he called my house yesterday (oct 2 2008) and left his ford credit message. then he called again tonight (oct 3 2008). I answered and he confirmed that I was the resident of the home and he hung up. I called 800 860 5811 back about 10 minutes ago and a message machine asks for input of either account number or social security number. at that point i hung up

are you sure it was ford motor credit? or was it just ford credit

Called 10/29/09 12:56 pm; left message and they had my name. Caller was Kelly...no swrILA.

The caller asked for Cecilia Joseph.I told him that there is no one by that name that I know. I told him that different people have been calling for the Cecilia Joseph,who I do not know.I demanded to talk to his manager or supervisor; he said ok and hung up. The representatives of Ford credit call me in the morning, afternoon, and at night. I see the call from Ford Credit as nothing but harassment. Please put my number 248- 416-9551 on 'your do not call list'. If you continue to call me , I WILL SUE YOU FOR WILFULL HARASSMENT. Call my phone company, Metro PCS and find if this number has anything to do with "Your Cecilia Joseph".I warn you for the last time , STOP CALLING ME ON 248-416-9551.

I had 2 calls from this number today. I didn't answer the first one and it left a voice mail, and I heard a message but it cut off after 2 seconds...it called me again 20 mins ago, and I answered and it said please hold on...and it hung up on me..forget these people!! It's a scam!

I had 2 calls 2 days in a row at exactly the same time.  I finally called back and they asked for either my SSN or account # at which time I said "I have no idea what account you are talking about, I need more information."  They said "well, just give your SSN" and I said "NO. Who are you?"  At that point they said Ford Mazda.  I had them spell it out becuase I didn't know what they were saying.  I then told them I didn't have an account with them and they said maybe I was a reference for someone else.  I never gave them my SSN and they finally said they must have had the wrong number and they would take my number off their list.  I think it is DEFINITELY a scam.  I put in a fake SSN just to get to an operator (987654321).  You should never have to put in a SSN to talk to someone.  SCAM.

Received 1 call at 9:30 this morning. I called and the recording requested SSN or Account number. What a scam they have going here!
