- AmyThis travel company is a scam, do not send your money.
- Call type: Fax
- Lenny replies to USMChardchargerHave you received any resolution to this? This should surely be criminal, no?
- danny amee jamesI have a hard time getting through to the travel centre for my package so can somebody answer me pleasa.
- Frustrated replies to kittymow1You obviously work for one of these scamers.
- Frustrated replies to kittymow1I am more convinced that you work for these scammers.
- Frustrated even more replies to kittymow1Ironically, you are the only one with a good experience. You certainly sound like a scamming employee of the Travel company
- Anonym replies to kittymow1I am sure by now they have gotten rid of you. You actually sound like some of the rude employees I encountered. So, you call that good business when you constantly get a voice recording when calling. After leaving a message(s) and no return call or response to email . Better yet, being placed on hold until the cubicle(rented space) closes and then having the phone hung up in your face. The most disgusting is then calling back to hear a disgusting voice saying"sorry you have reached us after business hours". I held the line for20 minutes to get this sort of treatment.
- I will pray for you replies to kittymow1You are evil.
- totally frustrated| 1 replyHorrible, you get rude people when able to actually reach someone on the phone. They never give clear answers and never respond to emails zip.

- Unscammed replies to totally frustratedReading the posts on the Travel Center scams has just saved me a bundle. I was getting ready to send the $138 "deposit" for our "Bonus Vacation", but didn't like the many "conditions & exclusions", so decided to check the Ripoff report and BBB website. This type of offer is rampant here in Florida, with scammers on every corner. Mine was a "Travel Club" presentation that was a scam in itself, and the 800-861-7313 appears to be also. I'm sure that the 23219 Stringtown Road #223 in Clarksburg MD is also only a "Rent-A-P.O. Box" place. Thanks to all for your stories. I'll use only reputable outfits for my vacations and avoid all the heartache. Don't forget - in addition to the FTC, you should be able to file a complaint with your state's Department of Business Regulation or similar agency, and even Small Claims Court if you are as teed-off as I would have been if sucked into the Travel Center scam.

- MICHIGAN replies to kittymow1So are u saying that i shouldnt worry about all the negative comments and proceed with my booking? I seem to be with the same company you were with, or atleast the same number,.
- Cherry replies to kittymow1Even if you question them they will tell you whatever they want. As to fulfilling it they will say they have nothing that states they fulfill verbal agreements. Travel Center/First Select Travel/Fun time booking. Be aware - I haven't saw any stories of people getting their vacations. All ripped off including me. Sold me a 4 day 3 night bahamas for 7 people from First Select. Travel Center tells me I voided my package because of going outside the Continental US. What!!? After paying $1495 to 3 different companies they wanted $702 per person more. And sent me an itinerary that minimum age was 14 at the hotel. My daughter was 12 and I sent 2 different sets of papers with her age. Look for FBI consumer scam reporting. Maybe enough people start complaining they will get busyet. Wjal 7 has an article on Travel Centers also.
