received a message at 8:00 am stating that the caller ahd gotten my number "from a pilot friend" of his, who said I was a successful realtor in my area, and asking that I call him back.  Presumably, he is hoping I will leap at the opportunity to sell him something.  However, I am not a realtor, and I suspect he wants to sell me something.

I received the same exact call this morning at 8:02 am.  I am a realtor but thought the message sounded fishy so I googled the number, found your inquiry and now know that it is a scam.

Just got the same call.  I sure wanted to call him back to see what his game is but thought better of it. If I did that, then he could probably claim that we have a relationship as defined by the TCPA.

The number belongs to Digicast Media Training.

They are selling media training seminars.

Receptionist answer a pre-recorded phone call. I am a Realtor and I was on floor duty so she gave me the message. She stated the caller said he heard our office was the best in sales and was interested in purchasing investment property. I didn't call back because it sounded fishy or phishy if you prefer. People who want to buy property don't use pre-recorded messages!

I run a real estate company in Colorado. I received this message today:
"Hi, this is Gene Ellitson calling from Orlando.  We've not met before, but I own a very successful travel venture that's just now expanding to your part of the world.  This has me in search of a few real estate professionals who might be keeping their income options open, and could get excited about earning no less than an extra five thousand dollars weekly by being a part of our program in your area.  Many realtors in other parts of the country have already earned small fortunes with our venture.  So if your options are open to consider an immediate and lucrative additional stream of income, give me a call right away at 1-800-862-6120, that's 800-862-6120. Bye for now."

I got the exact same call that he was referred by a "pilot friend of mine"...etc...that we are a successful real estate company.

The voice sounds fishy, the 1-800 # just gave it away, we do not know anyone who is a pilot and we are not a real estate company...I think they are trying to sell us something and found your comments.

Same thing - 8 AM call - "pilot friend referred"... but he said his name was Gene Perry.  Called back (as I know some pilots) - but when it asked for all my contact phone numbers - I hung up.

Recv'd msg. from "Gene Perry" wanting me to call him back.  Said he got our name from a "pilot friend" and knows we are successful realtors. I own a real estate advertising firm - but the whole thing stunk so I googled his number and found these postings.  Gene's phone call will not be returned.

Gene Perry must be busy. I find it funny that the message always comes in at 8 AM. Ours was logged at 8:03 AM. Again, pilot friend referred him. We are realtors but right away thought it was fishy. Thank goodness for google!

Received a call/message in our office voice mail early this morning as well (6/3/08) from "gene" to just give him a call at 800-862-6120.

Looks like Gene Perry is calling later in the morning - I received a call at 8:26 a.m. stating that a "pilot friend of his told him I was a successful Realtor" so of course I googled the number and found these postings!  The only real thing about this call is I am a successful realtor!

I too am a successful realtor on Hilton Head Island, and 800-862-6120 is alive and well with its phishing.

Received message this morning around 8:30am same as others he got my number from a pilot friend in need of a Realtor.  Please call him back left name as Gene.

Got a call like everyone else at 8:00am from a Gene Perry stating he was referred by a pilot friend needing a realtor. Just a bunch of BS. Nothing more than a telemarketer. Googled the number and found this site.

I got the same phone call this morning and it sounded fishy to me since I live in a rural community how would any pilots know me???
