recording stating "this is an emergency call from Microsoft. Your microsoft liscense has expired" and to call them immediately. Reverse look-up shows this is a toll-free mobile number from Aerialink/CSF.

It is NOT Microsoft calling.  It is a CROOK who wants remote access to your computer - a NO NO!!  Your license does NOT expire.  Ignore the call.

Got the same recorded message as mentioned in the post above: "this is an emergency call from Microsoft. Your microsoft liscense has expired".    I returned their call from my work number, which comes up as a security company on caller ID. A heavy-accented person answered as "Josh" in 'Support'.  I doubt this is legitimate, and caution anyone from providing any information to them.

Same as above. The "Windows Support" scam has been going on for a few years. Basically it is social engineering - they want you to call in, and give them remote access to your computer. Once they have that, generally they can use it to access to financial accounts, use saved passwords, obtain blackmail materials, etc. Microsoft won't be calling you with a robocall about your license. They might pester you to death with notifications on your computer to renew, update, etc. But they won't call. Total scam, ignore and block.

They can't even speak english: 'License Key has been expired'.
So, I just report 800-864-0163 to Federal agencies (FCC, FTC, etc).
