I've received repeated calls, with repeated hang ups, from this number.  Does anyone know who these clowns are?

Yes, I received a call today from this number and they left a voice message saying that I need to call 18008421795 regarding a confidential personal matter (??). When I called them back in that number a guy immediately asked my phone number. I asked what's his name and what is the company. He replied that since it is confidential he can tell only after getting my phone number. I immediately hung up.

I get repeated call from this number several times a day and numerous times a week. When I answer the call sometimes there isn't anyone there and sometimes when I do talk to someone they start asking me personal questions. Without answering my questions as to who they are, they will not say. Please lets find a way to stop this.

caller will not answer, recorded voice comes on says important call, using name for person not at this number, return the call to number given and they hang up if I will not verify number calling from. will not state name of company without giving personal info... calls between 6 am to 9pm PST..

yes, I receive hang up calls from that number as well.

Rec'd another call from this number(1-800-864-8154) which was forward to NW Associates.  Called back from land line & asked them to remove my number.  It belonged to some previous owner. Company was a collections agency:

If this 800-864-8154 belongs to Nelson, Watson & Assoc., I recv'd a notice in the mail from them stating they are collecting an unpaid bill. I called the number on the notice 800-388-1190. They told me what my SS# was. I told them that the bill they were referring to was paid in full. They told me that it wasn't according to their records. I asked where they recv'd their information from and they would not tell me. I faxed proof to them that the bill was paid, called them back and asked what I needed to do to make sure this doesn't happen again. I was told to contact the credit bureaus and have it corrected on my credit report. This was on July 16th.Today I see that this number has called me twice and left no message. I WANT TO KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT IS ON MY CREDIT REPORT???? I THINK THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE REPORTED TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. ANYONE AGREE?

800-864-8154 has been calling all the phones on our Family plan for 3 years (on a regular basis). The number comes up as TOTAL CALL RECOVERY, REDLINE RECOVERY or Private Caller. When we asked them what it was in regards to they keep accusing us of being/knowing an person (they are looking for) named "Shawn or Charlie Sexton" and they sometimes leave pages (that we end up paying for). When we call them back to ask them to removed us they sometimes get hostile and start telling us things like: they'll "call our entire family" if they want to ...

I think it is just like spam, they know it's the wrong number but continue to call anyhow to prove they are working on the case and bill the actual creditor for the service??

They have been calling my business since I added the rollover line, (always on that new line)as I answer with my company name they hang up.
So today I just answer "Hello" and they asked for Peggy. Collection agy's have been looking for Peggy for a while. Oh well, maybe now it'll slow down. (Yeaaa right!)

This number was on my caller ID from yesterday. No message left on my machine.

I picked up midway through a message telling me it was "urgent" that they be called back regarding a very important matter.

just got a call from this number.  a recorded voice starting with a partially cut-off return telephone number, then asking for an "immediate" call back regarding an "urgent personal matter" with the provided reference number.

for months i've received the same type of call from one of their other numbers: 800-910-5856.  the numbers show up on my Caller ID.

i check my credit reports at least quarterly to ensure i have a spotless record.  i see no reason for their calls & have my phone number registered with the National Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov

i have filed a complaint for both numbers with the above registry.  i encourage others to do the same.  with enough complaints maybe these calls at all hours of the day with stop.

After reading these posts I just returned the call to this number and asked them to remove my number from their call list.  She asked if I was Laurie something or other.  I told her no and there was no one here by that same.  She apologized for having the wrong number so I'm assuming/hoping they'll stop incessantly calling.  It was easy enough so you guys may want to just try that.  She did answer the phone Nelson, Watson & Associates.

Answered when they called last night.  They asked for me by name but then asked for information about another person on my street.  Became very hostile when I told them I didn't know anything about them.  They screamed at me that I was lying that I didn't know anything about my across the street neighbor.  I informed them that the house number they were looking for was not in fact across the street from me but down several houses.  Obviously a skip tracer.  I had fun egging him on though.  If he calls again, I will do it again.

Continue to get calls from this number, either leaves a message or asks for someone who does not live here.  I called them back and they answer Nelson, Watson.  They need to get their info correct.  How many times must they be told there is no one living in this residence by that name!!!!????

They call and there is no one at the other end. I live in a multi family so I get these calls all the timnes for other renters.
hey actually have asked me to go across the hall and get another tenant or leave them a message on their door. The nerve of these people! I work hard I'll be damned if I go around taking messages for other people that live in my Bldg.

This caller keeps calling at all hours of the day and night and asking for a person who doesnt even live there. I would like them to remove my number from their calling list and I am also on the National Do Not Call List
