This is United Airlines calling to let you know about a flight change. You can get them to stop calling you by just asking them. Either you signed up when you flew with them, or someone mistyped their phone number as yours. If you're flying, this can be a very helpful service.

You can go to the United website, log into your account and set "quiet time" when calls will not be made.
It's a good service. If your flight is delayed or cancelled it is good to know before you leave for the airport.

Thanks everybody for posting on this site.  A call came in from this number and I couldn't answer it.  Whoever it was did not leave a message.  Some family members are overseas and I wasn't sure if the call was from them.  Now I know it was from United Airlines.  Thanks everybody!

Just received a very useful robo call from United on this number. They told me that I could check in now for tomorrow's flight and told me the Confirmation Number to use. I double checked and the Confirm number was indeed mine. I read thery were some very useless calls. This was not one of them.

I have never flown on United airlines! No one in my family has ever flown on United. We do not fly for our jobs or for holidays. I get at least 4 calls per day from this number - it's been at least a year now. I reported this to the United Airlines website and a nice lady responded 2 times. The calls never stop. Many times in the middle of the night which wakes me up.

Two calls from this number, last night and this morning (Tues Jan 14). We never pick up "unavailable" calls so I let it go - no message so I figured it was one of the usual scams. I'm surprised to learn it is United! We just booked a flight with them but it is for months from now. Guess we'd better answer next time. Why oh Why do they have to say "unavailable"??

Got two calls in 10 minutes. I never fly with and don't want to fly with them in future due to prank calls.

    I hate them

NOT A SPAMMER!   This number is United Airlines. If you call their customer service, you may receive a call back asking you to take a short survey on the quality of the service you received. They outsource their customer service to the Philippines, and the surveys help them train the customers service people. However, you are under no obligation to answer the phone or take the survey.

They may also use this number to notify you of flight changes or other matters.

Two calls from this number today, Sept. 16, one at 10:30 AM and another at 4:30 PM. Are they really United Air Lines? We are booked on a United flight next week and we'd sure like to know if they are trying to tell us of a change or delay. But if this is some scammer spoofing United's number I am not amused. Guess we'd better answer next time. I don't mind a survey but oh am I sick and tired of scams. If it is United why don't they just identify themselves?

I called United Mileage Plus yest to ask sm questions, so according to other posts sounds lk United. I'm  overseas now but didn't bk a ticket w them and don't hv smthng pending only asked a few questions. Also using Magic Jack for my calls here. They must hv copied the number to solicit a call bk, four calls that I didn't answer, actually, and of which no msgs were left. We don't give out that number and are on a diff time zone, so it woke us in middle of night repeatedly...very frustrating and don't like them using our private number! Is prob for the survey, lk the other post mentions.  Only thing is, I hv called them bf w/o this solicitation???

I got a call from this number this morning. Though unlike all the prior responses on here, it was not United Airlines, it was Liberty Mutual Insurance, whom I recently got a homeowners insurance policy from, confirming the start date of my policy.

If you get a call from this number, and you have neither booked any travel via United nor are you a United frequent flier, then the chances are good that someone mistyped a phone number entry for someone else, and put yours into the system by mistake.  I have no idea how to get United to fix it, and yes, they might call at any hour of the day or night because part of what their service does is make sure people can be on time for their flights.
