Scam!!! Website said make money from home. Paid 1.00 from credit card to get info and 5 days later a charge for 90 bucks to my checkin!!!

scam they took out 84.37 out of my checking

I was hit by this too. A one dollar charge to learn how to make money on the interenet and then a 84.83 charge 5 days later. Beware.

same deal paid a dollar for info on work from home  now they took 84.84 from my credit card rippoff

same scam - took a dollar and three days later took 84.84

Of course, it's a scam. However, the offer was for Google -  how to make money via Google. Charged for $1.01 for postage on 8/13/09. Today charged for $84.00 plus change.  Credit card security called me and said that since I gave them my number (for $.99 actually) that was all they were interested in.

Does anyone know how to stop this?

call them and cancel, make sure you obtain a cancellation # and request a courtesy refund. What you did was engage in a trial offer for the $1.00 somewhere in the terms and conditions they clearly indicated that you would be charged if you did not cancel.

I am sure that would probably work if you actually received the product and was given the opportunity to review and a chance to call and cancel.  However, I am in agreement with all the others...scam, scam, scam.  They illegally submits payment from innocence persons who are looking for better opportunities.  Who has money just to give away?

I got taken for 85.52 Has anyone done anything about this?

This is a really big scam,they say if you call within 5 days you can cancel,I did that two days later and they still took my money from my debit card account five days later,now I can't get anyone there to answer their phone.My bank says they don't know if they can help me or not.And they are not with google.

i googled google bizkit and it brought me to a website to make money from home with google i ordered the kit for a 1.00 and today 8/20/09 i was charged 84.84. i was told i would recieve a kit in 5 days not here. i called the 800-864-9920 and it says to leave a message and someone will get back to you. as of today i am calling the better business bureau and reporting them.

They hit me too for $84.84 and like everyone else, I can not get through to them. They did not call, just took the money. Beware!

They hit me also for $84.84 for Google Kit. I've tried to call them most of the day, but I can't get through to them. Is there anything that can be done to get the money back, or am I screwed?

same deal. spent $1.00 for a Google Kit and today I'm being charged $84.84 and can,t get through. Someone needs to be taking care of this, it,s giving Google a bad name!
