Robo Spam. How in the world they allow spammer to use 800 prefix CID? Scam

Robocalling credit card rate reduction debt relief scammer. They are faking the caller id and have nothing to do with Capital One. They are miserable thieves and this is just a fraud. I hate that our govt and the FCC have done nothing to fix this problem and continue to allow Americans to be harassed and scammed.

Same old card services BS scam and another spoofed number! Told the man with a heavy Indian accent he was a disgusting sleazy low life bottom feeder idiot scammer trying to perpetrate a fraud and to get a real job, some morals and integrity! His response was “okay” and he hung up!

Recorded debt reduction scam: "This is an important message regarding your current credit card account. We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to speak to the Member Services Department, or press 2 and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire."

Didn't answer, but appears to be a debt reduction phishing scam.  The caller ID says Capital One, and when I called back the number it was Capital One indeed.  I don't have a Capital One account, so I'm sure the scammers are spoofing their number.

The “Final Courtesy Call” has been a monthly event for the last 18 months. Changes numbers but the same stupid message. “2” is a joke and trying to ask them to stop calling has never worked. Just don’t answer!
