yea i just got a call yesterday while i was sleeping.they called the house an my cell...i have no idea what it's about message was bout the same a Miss Lillie called sayin some important matter just came to her desck an gave me the number to call back an reference number as well i called the number when i woke up an got a answering machine both sayin they were from ECB an to leave a number an info. funny things is the number on my cell came up as 419 not the 1-800-867-3104. Kinda glad i checked it out before so

Yep, i get a call from this 419 number asking for a steve something, and there has never been a steve at my number. they leave a message saying to call at 1-800-867-3104. DO NOT ANSWER thats how telemarketers know that its an active number..dont even answer and say to put you on a don not call list, because your number will just get recirculated...important matter my ass.

someone called for my busband. he just said his name was pierce and he was "head of situation" left a number, but no reason why he called or who he worked for.

Call was to my son - on answering machine - from "Ms Lilly" - just received important information - call today to get this cleared up

Showed up as Ohio Call 419 on Caller ID with a lady who spoke so fast through certain parts that we have no idea what she wanted. Was definitely able to make out the number to return the call, though: 800-867-3104. I don't think so! If it's important she will call back and leave an understandable message.

Stop calling my work

I keep receiving calls from this number on my cell phone and they leave a message for someone else on my voicemail.  I just called them back using the information they left on the message, and told me that it was illegal for ME to receive the message on MY phone.  I told them that it is my phone and I have every right to listen to the messages left on it.  They are eating up my minutes, I think I have the right to get them to stop. Further more, I told them to never call my cell phone again.  I am not who they are looking for.  They claim the calls will stop but we will see.

I've been getting calls, too, but only on Fridays and only at work!  I was also told they would contact my HR department (what for, I have no idea, it is not legal in this state to garnish wages for a stupid cell phone collection).  I told them to go ahead and that my HR department would release NO information without MY signed authorization.  I've not received anything via mail from them, so I had no address to send a complaint, so thanks to Alfalfa above for providing those addresses.  Best advice is to not discuss anything with these relentless people!  Tell them you will only correspond with them in writing and that they can only contact you via US Mail.

I received a call at work while I was at school.  They left the 1-800-867-3104 for me to call back.

if you do not recognize it ...block it..they scream call you name and just try to intimidate you with no explanation...just block all their numbers.

I have received calls from these people on a daily basis.  I call them and tell them I am not the person they are looking for, and they promise to take the number off their contact information.  I don't hear from them for a whole week before they start  calling every day again.  I really don't care if the information they are putting in my voice mail is private as they claim. I am going to post it publicly with the reference numbers anyways.  The sad part is, I am also getting calls from the persons mother, who is apparently not able to get a hold of who used to have my number, so I don't know what to think.  But I digress.  Don't fool with these people.  Call them back, hold until a person answers, tell them to stop calling.  Then immediately file legal papers against them charging harassment.  Get the attorney generals office in your state and the states they are in involved as well.  Stick it to them good.

Verizon Wireless uses UCB  to collect past due payments for them. In this case it was legitimate.

I just got a call from a local phone # here in town.  And that I needed to have my husband call this # and ask for Irene . So they hire local people to make there calls for them? You can bet that I will flag that # and wont answer it again!!!!!

Uuuh the lady behind the phone was being real pushy.  You call that being preofessional?  
How do they expect me to trust them.  I too owe a bill to verizon.  They keep calling me like crazy,
but it's actually kind of creepy.  Any suggestions???
