A message was left on my son's phone-it was a recording with a persons name inserted in yet another and different recorded voice .The message stated it was imperative to return this call-it did not state who is was from.My son is disabled and these calls upset him,so I returned the call-listened to music for a few minutes and was given voice mail.I left a message not to call his
number again and then played with the various options and it finally got to a message that I had reached Nelson Elliott and Associates and given a chance to leave a general mailbox message.Hope this helps someone if you get a call from this number.

Have had numerous calls from 1-8000-868-6417 and to the same advertisement under the number 1-800-842-5795 for the same person, (not me)

Somehow this number got my best friends number and they called looking for me. Im not sure how to stop them from calling because no one ever answers when you call back

The number belongs to Nelson, Watson, and Associates.  They are a collection agency that is is very shady.  Their Client for me pulled a "we will work with you on paying us off" deal then handed the account over to them.  I have filed with the FTC on them and their client.

recieded a call at work saying that it is a must you call back. no name and no hint as to what the call was about,when you call back you get only voice mail. these kind of calls need to be stopped.

We have received numerous calls from this "company" in the last week.  However, if we answer the call, no one is there...  Someone, from Nelson, Watson and Associates did answer when I called today. The man was very "shady" acting and would not give me any information, other than to tell me to have my husband call him back at "his office" at 800 870 7310 x.4411.  I could hear LOTS of talking in the background (it certainly didn't sound like an office).  I kept pressing him and told him that if he really wanted a return call, then he needed to give me some information.  He wanted to know who I was (I had already told him twice that I was the wife of the person he was asking for).  Finally, he began to tell me "why" they were calling....  As it turns out, they didn't even have the right person.  Yes, the name was correct but that was ALL...  He told me that they had received the account from Capital One Visa (which we don't even have).  He gave me the last 4 digits of the social of the person he was "looking for" and of course they didn't match.  When I made it clear that he was dealing with misinformation, he brushed it off with, "it's not me; everything we do is computer generated".  He then said, "I'll take your off the phone list" and    hung up!  Hopefully, I won't hear from them again, as the calls were coming   at 8am until 10pm!

I received a call from that number about 2 weeks ago with a recording saying "please wait for an urgent message" but I hung up right after that. I've received 2 other calls with the same recording, including one today.

Don't return this call. They will have a record of your return call and keep calling. Collection agency.

Got a two messages on my answering machine a few months ago from two different people claiming to be from a law firm.  When I called the number left on my machine I was never able to get anyone.  Now, I've gotten two calls this week on my machine (1-8000-868-6417 ). Called the number and got some guy claiming to be from Nelson, Watson, and Associates.  He asked me to give him my SSN which I refused.  I asked him why he was calling but he refused to tell me why.  Then asked me if my address was so and so address in Las Vegas.  I told him that wasn't my address then he wanted to know what my address was  I told him I wasn't going to give him my address.  He got mad and told me that me that he was going to put me down as being uncooperative and hung up.  Oooooooo I'm so scared.  These clowns are looking somebody in a different city.  How they got my number I don't know.

Number calls my Home everyday, does not leave a message.  I am on the the DO NOT Call List. How can we find these callers?

I havent been able to answer any calls since i always recieve them while in school. but during break i try to call the number back and i get a busy tone. i want to know who this is, since i have been getting in trouble. how do i stop this?

800-868-6417 calls my home via a recorded message, states my name and says that it is imperative or urgent that I call back.  This has been going on for several months every other day or so.  I called back today from a different number to ask what the nature of the call was, they would not tell me without me revealing my name.  they answered as Nelson, Watkins Assoc.  I asked what the nature of their business was, no response except that I was on the para legal line.  I hung up.

I get calls from them several times a week.  I even called the police but they said I can only file a harrassment claim if they call three or more times a day.  They are calling to collect on someone who I don't know.  Maybe he had my number before me?  I've left messages and told the live operator numerous times to take me off their list.  Nothing seems to help.  What can I do?

Left a message not saying who they were, not giving their number but to dial "9" to call back and that it was extremely important -- 8:04 a.m. on Saturday morning.  Very irritating!

These people have been calling my phone on and off with their pre-recorded message for the past 5 years.  I've had the same phone number for 5 years and they think it belongs to some other lady who never paid her bills, apparently.  Whenever I call and ask for a supervisor they are extremely rude and they try to bully me into giving my name before they turn me over to a supervisor.  I never do it and I continue to demand to speak to a supervisor.  They say they take my phone number off but a couple of months later I'll get a call again.  I've reported them to the FTC and I encourage everyone else to do this if you are being harassed!!  Don't put up with their antics!!

Numerous calls to a childs cell phone. They leave 7 messages at one time always around noon. We call the number back says that the voice mail box is full!! This needs to stop. This has been happening for about 3 weeks.

I received a call from 800-864-8154 and the caller ID said unknown name. There was a recording with my name and to call 800-868-6417. I called right back and asked who they were. It took a bit then they said they were from Nelson Watson and Associates. I asked who you are and what do you do. The guy wouldn’t give me any more information. He kept asking for my # and he could tell me more. I wanted to know what they did and wanted. He was very rude and told me they will keep calling and the calls won’t go away. I am planning on doing more research. My credit is very good and I can imagine what they need with me. I am not about to give any personal information to anyone I don’t know. They need to have a live person call.

A recording called my office today, when i called back to inquire about a name they had recorded that did not sound fimilar, I was greeted by a nasty rep who wanted me to varify that the person did not work for me. I told them not to call again and filed a complaint with the FTC

We've been receiving calls from Nelson Watson & [***] for over a year now...when we answer the phone, there's a recording that is looking for "Frances Leyva"...don't know who this person is.  They really need to double check on their phone numbers before harassing people.  I am in the process of filing a complaint with Attorney General's office, FTC, and Consumer Affairs.
