These idiots called me at 8:15 this morning, letting the phone ring 3 times and woke me up.  When I answered, no one was there (nor did they leave a message).  When I called back, I got (you guessed it) Nelson-Watson Assoc., calling for my daughter ... who does not live here.  When I asked how they got my number, they said she gave it to them as a reference number a couple of months ago.  Then the rudeness and began.  I googled the number ... and here I am ... with the rest of you ... imagine that.

What really bothers me ... I see the first letter is in 2007 ... and these people are STILL doing it.  Obviously, contacting the FTC or the FDCPA isn't doing a bit of good ... so what's left?

Of course, they will be contacting N,W & A, getting their very legalese response and dismiss it.  I say ... contact your local and national TV Stations and really get the word out.  Then, of course ... there are "The Bloggers" out there ... heehee ... so get to typing.

The well spoken harrasing idiot "Justin" truly believes he is working within the legal system, when in fact, on a daliy basis,  he violates the provisions set forth under the Fair Trade Commission's of Federal Debt Collection Pracices Act (FDCPA, 15 u.C.~I 1692)from violating FTC Act 806 of the FDCP A, 15 U . c. ~ I 692d,  

[ Communicating with a consumer at any unusual time or place or a time or place known or which should be known by Defendants as inconvenient to the consumer, including, but not limited to,  the consumer place of employment, when Defendants know or should know that such communications are inconvenient, in violation of Section 805(a)(1) of the FDCPA, 15 U. 1692c(a)(1);  Engaging in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person, in violation of Section 806 of the FDCP A, 15 U . c. ~ I 692d, including, but not limited to using obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer, in violation of Section 806(2) of the FDCPA,

I have been receiving phone calls from them as well - as are they calling my boyfriend's place of work, my parents' place of work (and I am 39 years old) - they are abusive and theives. They escheated $2500 in funds from our joint account without my permission. They were to send me confirm that an account that used to belong to my ex (which I took over per divorcea0 would be settled for the $2500 and they would send me paperwork that day confirming as such. I received NOTHING - - called and called leaving messages with them that they were NOT to take the funds because they didn't hold up their end of the bargain. No one returned my phone call AND they took the money anyway. I have hired a lawyer and the bank is working with me to settle it. DO NOT even take their calls!!!

I got a call from this number,  claiming I owe Time Warner Cable $84.45 for ONE day of telephone service.  Time Warner scammed my account AFTER the account was disconnected.  They are never to call in the evening,  or any time at all .  TIME WARNER WILL NEVER STEAL A CENT FROM ME,  AND ARE OWED NOTHING.

They just started with me! After having an argument with AT&T about money they are Billing me for that I don't owe. Within about 2 days these calls started and aren't stopping. They are calling twice a day, every day but don't leave a message.

This number calls me numerous times through the day 7AM until 9PM. I pick up the phone and no one is there. I called the number back and I went through a phone tree that got me to voicemail

I've been receiving calls from this number, several times per day every day.  When I answer, the line seems dead - I've never spoke to anyone to tell them to stop calling me.

This is a scam caller. Do not pick it up! If it's something important instead you should receive a voice mail!

they call twice a day like clockwork; never leave a message; never answer when I call back; even if I owed someone and they were handling it I would not work with these people - especially after reading all the comments above -- thanks for alerting us all as to how nasty these people really are!!
