- MelEveryone beware of this green paper coming in the mail with no return address anywhere and listed on it. The letter stated I had a lender listed whom I in fact have never even used! My house is paid off! The green paper stated my home warranty was expired, which is funny I have home owners insurance!!! Why would I have to have a warranty on my house???? I did lots of research and found other responses that this is a big time SCAM. I did not call the number on the green paper, on another site I researched to discover that this was reported as a SCAM. The other site, had multiple people report similar stories all stating that these people behind this green paper saying it was my "final" notice, which was actually my very first notice, from the supposed "US Home Guard" which is a very bogus scamming operation.
- Caller: None # was on the green letter
- JohnNumber appeared on a green-colored letter (addressed to my father) that came in the mail. The letter was from US Home Guard (from their Home Warranty Division). It mentioned that our home's warranty (it listed the address and lender info) was expiring or it already had expired and that their records indicated that he had not contacted them to get the warranty up to date and that he was to call them right away as it was their final attempt to get in contact. It also mentioned that without said warranty, he would be "at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs", as well that is was not too late to activate a warranty for the house. A sentence also said that they "reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after 5 days." It mentioned that he has until January 26 to respond (the notice date was January 8). A customer ID was also listed.
It said in the fine print: "Not all consumers have previous coverage. We are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder. Home Warranty Administered by Warranty Global Group." The question is, how did they get all this information about the house?

- HaleyWe received a letter in the mail similar to the ones listed saying it was final attempt for our home warranty. Funny thing is, we have a warranty through a different company and have had that same policy since we purchased our house in 2015. I called the number just to see what kind of scam it was and they guy said it wasn't a scam. I said the letter was misleading and he asked which part, so I proceeded to tell him. He kept trying to interrupt and I wouldn't let him cut me off. He asked me if I wanted to be informed or argue. In all my childish glory, I told him I wanted to argue. He had nothing else to say after that. I wanted to jump through the phone and kick his a**. These companies prey on people who might panic and not remember who they had a warranty through. Funny thing is, they don't even have a website listed on the letter. If they are going to get smart people to fall for it, they should at least have the correct information on the letter. They didn't even have the correct mortgage company listed! Jerks.
- Dora LantripI received the exact letter, down to the green paper it was typed on. The address was correct, however, I do not own this house and my name doesn't appear on any true documents. I believe that when we filled out the 2021 CENSUS, said information is put in a US Directory for purchase by anyone that can afford it. Attorneys find these directories to be very helpful in their line of work.
It's unbelievable how this so called US Home Guard pursues home owners, or NOT and has really gone all out to appear as legit as possible. Whatever the scam, it must work for them just to be able to afford postage, directories, green paper and telecommunications. No bank information was listed, but it did say that this info was thru a private lender. I believe it to be a scam. I'm sure you guys, like me, KNOW if you have a warranty about to expire, your not waiting for the random postage paid (FINAL ATTEMPT) letter to reach you. Thanks to you all for entering info from your searched number. I have used this service many times over the years and have found it to be very helpful.
I would like to add also, in the State of Alabama, my partner received a call, with a left message informing him that US Customs and Border Protection was calling him because he had a package intercepted that contained drugs and cash. Press 1 to speak to a CBD Agent. He received 3 of the same calls, but all 3 different numbers, and it wasn't his network phone.
It was thru the TalkaTone App. He deleted the numbers, and I apologize for that, but I'm certain that if a package with drugs and cash was confiscated, I seriously doubt that a heads up would be given. Besides, we keep all of our drugs and cash. Lol. I hope that my ramblings will be helpful. Thanks and have a nice day.
Sincerely,

- RobI received the same green letter. What was interesting about it was it said to reply by March 2, 2021 but I didn't receive it in the mail until today (March 3, 2021). So, it was past the respond by date when I received it. It is basically spam mail.

- Tessa O.I've started receiving letters from US Home Guard ever since I refinanced my mortgage 3 years ago and they had my mortgage company's name.
They're telling me that I need to respond immediately because their records indicate that my home warranty needs to be updated and I risk being financially liable for any repairs to my home. I need to respond by 05/07/2021 and they reserve the right to revoke my eligibility for coverage after 5 days. How can I update my records when I've never signed up with them, that's a good laugh.
I used to get letters on GREEN paper but today I received it on PINK paper and this time there's a phone number (800) 870-3887. They were always calling me in the past until I started blocking their numbers and that's how I got some relief from them. These letters are most annoying and I'm sick and tired. I don't even see a return address for them so that I could give them a piece of mind but I'll do it by phone.
Something drastically have to be done about these scammers and fraudsters. - JodieMy letter was pink. Got a home equity loan and now we're getting these letters from every sleazy "insurance company" in the country trying to scare us into getting some kind of warranties. LAST NOTICE, RESPOND IMMEDIATELY, EXTREMELY URGENT, TIME SENSITIVE. Had enough, these are scammers.

- Unhappy OneI also received the green letter in the mail, making it seem as though my mortgage is in jeopardy because my "Home Warranty" has or is about to expire. I thought that they meant that my homeowner's insurance information needed to be updated (it's required for my mortgage). US Home Guard makes it seem that they are working with my Mortgage Lender, and it very threatening with this "Final Notice" and my "coverage will be revoked in 5 days." It even includes a "Customer ID" to seem authentic. I never was a customer of this outfit. I would like to know how they obtained my information. If they have called me, they never left a message; I always call-screen new numbers now.
