    Thanks for the post on Mediacom. I have been getting as many as three calls a day from this number. I am on the do not call list, so they should not be calling me.

    I receive frequent calls from this number. If I let the answering machine get it, there is no message left. If I answer it, there is no one on the other end of the line, even if I wait a full minute.I am on the national do not call list, so how do I get these calls to stop?

    I have been getting calls from this number 2 or 3 times a day usually when I am sleeping none the less. Its getting really annoying.

    I just got a call from this number. I answered, said "Hello" 3 times, and no one was there.  I am also with Mediacom. I just filed a complaint with the BBB about Mediacom 2 days ago (and won), so if they think they are going to harass me this way, they have another thing coming.

    If you alreasy have their service they are not calling to sell you anything.  If you aldready have their service the do not call list does not apply.   They are calling you because you need to pay your bill

    Well, I AM a customer of MediaCom, but my bill is not overdue. So saying that they want me to pay an old bill is not what is going on here. Also, when I did have an overdue bill in the past, they did leave a voicemail, and they didn't do that this time. So either this is a scam, or they are trying to sell me something. Which seems strange, since I already have all of their services. Oh well!

    I disagree. They are calling you to see if you are interested in adding their bundled service or a new movie channel, etc. They are calling you precisely because you are already a customer of theirs and they are trying to get you to sign up for "special offers." I answered last year and they talked to me about getting Showtime. They have recently started their tricks again and have been calling me 1-2 times a day which I always hit "ignore" to send to my voicemail - which they never end up leaving one.

    If they were trying to get in touch with you about paying your bill then I can guarantee they would be taking more drastic steps than calling and never leaving a message...think about it.

    I have Mediacom's TV and internet service.  I am not past due on my bill.  They call because they want me to sign up for their phone service.  I have been called several times in the past about this.  Each time I tell them I have a cell phone and don't need their service.  The calls will go away for a few months but then start back up. >:(

    they will pick up right away and the customer service rep will take
    you out of the dialer system and no more calls!

    I get them to at least 2 times a day.
    I am not past due on my bill either. If they keep it up I will get a dish.. I would be ok if they would just leave a message and let me know what they want?  They are calling my Cell phone and I am not going to waste minuets talking to 800 numbers for no reason.

    Yeah I have Mediacom cable and internet as well and I have no overdue bills. I pay them early actually. So thanks for the info because I'm sure they are just trying to sell me something else. It's getting ridiculous though. And they don't leave voicemails. I just ignore their calls. Oh well.

    Just got a call from this # today too. I am a Mediacom customer, so it was probably a soliciting call. My bills are always on time so I know it's not a billing issue. Unless they wanna give me credits lol.

    Ya this number kept calling me as well.  Nice to see these posts.  I actually called right away thinking they might of missed my last payment but the lady said they were just offering me a bundle service.  I was rather annoyed and said i was on the do not call list and do not wish to be solicited.  Wish they would of just left a message rather than call me every damn day

    Please make it stop!  I get 3 to 5 calls from them a week.  They want me to sign up for their VoIP service.  I have told them I am not interested and to no longer call me, but of course they don't listen.   Grrr...

    Glad to know who's # this is; thanks for the post. I'm also receiving numerous calls/day. Also experiencing no message/no one at other end of line when answered. Just wish seller would talk to me when I answer so I can tell them 'no' and get it over with.
