I receive unwanted calls repeatedly from this number even though I have asked them many times to remove me from their robo-call list.

They now identify themselves as Highlights Magazine.  The strange thing is that they will ask for some random person I've never heard of!  Has happened at least twice this year.  Their subscriber database must be seriously messed up or their number is being spoofed by robo-scammer?!?!?!??????  At least they operator was polite, I'd like it if they'd stop calling though.

We have never had a Highlights subscription in our name, but son gets it from in-laws. No idea why they are calling us 3-4 times a day, or how they even got our number. These companies seriously have nothing better to do then harass people multiple times a day via autodialer? I only assume it's the highlights thing since it's the exact same number as everyone's listed above... just SO annoyed.

Highlights! I called the number back and some woman answered asked who was calling.. I told her that she called me and she went on to ramble about highlights new picture book, subscription options and such. my toddler has been getting highlights, but we have NO IDEA who ordered it for him?? so i just told her i already renewed and she let me go...

I got a card in the mail in Livonia Michigan today for two free dinners & seminar at a local family restaurant.  The card has a mock elecfric bill on one side.  The presentation is about reducing my energy bills.  No info at all on the company or product.  The no. above is where to call to RSVP for reservations.  

From a different thread using search terms instead of this contact ph #, I found that this is either Solar Tek or Utility Management Assoc, LLC.  Probably the latter, who sell some heat relective attic material.

So I guess this toll free phone number is a commercial one that has been reassigned.  I don't plan on going.  Haven't had time to read all the posts here, but wanted others to know of the change in company using the number.

the calls frmo 800-874-8816 need to stop

They won't stop calling... They are calling looking for a person who doesn't have this number and I've told them time and time again. Need help to make them go away.

I just called the number back, Highlights recorder came one, said to go to highlights.com to be placed
on the do not call list.  I'm so sick of getting these calls everyday and night, two to three times.

Stop the repeated calling

I got the same card as Bogdon for 866-280-8816, but for a restaurant in Hudson, Ohio.  The meal sounds good, but I think I would have stomach pains if I had to listen to 2 hours of someone trying to sell me magic beans to put in my attic.

it's highlights magazine when you call it will take 30 days to remove your number they are bad they call 6-10 times a day leave no message, but it will take 30 days to get removed. great system. never leave a message. if they were legit why not show that its Highlights???????

I only entered my phone number and checked the box to opt out of phone calls.  A window came up telling me that my request was processed.  Hopefully, it will work.

they have called me for two weeks straight i even called asked to ber emoved..still calling..i wrote an email to them..still calling..now they are breaking the law. I have  contacted local police department..dont they know that stop calling, means stop calling.. i am speaking perfexct english.. HATE companies like them

That is why this internet service is so helpful.  It separates the scum from the legit.  I had blocked this number and then realized we too have a Highlights subscription.  My mom pays for it so I will leave it blocked but good to know who is behind at least one of these anonymous calls.
