Have been getting calls from this number about every other day or so, including Saturday. I do not answer and they do not leave a message.

That makes sense....I pay for a subscription for my grandsons. They are probably just calling to get me to renew.

Received a Voice Mail from this number at 10 PM. It lasted only 3 seconds and all I could hear was background chatter similar to a call center. I am not going to call the number to find out anything more.

I just started getting these calls.Did not sign up for the magazine or anything and now they have started.I don't even have kids!!!!!!!Why would I want this magazine?I now have call block and I added them to a list!!!!!! Oh and they always call right at dinner time.They can expect to get hung up on!!!!!!Get call block lite for your cell phones its free and gives you peace of mind!

I have a single contact called "annoyance" set to no ring tone and straight to voice mail. If you can set up custom ringtones for contacts, just save the number and set it to no ring.

I talked to a person on the phone and told them to stop calling and remove my number! This was last fall and now they are right back calling and we have not renewed our subscription to the magazine.

They may be legit but they have called me 3 times today that harassment

I called back and got a message from Highlights that it was outside their normal business hours.  You can go to their site (www.highlights.com) and unsubscribe your phone number.  They claim it will take up to 10 days to process.

I do not have kids, never have had kids, so there is ZERO established business with this company.  Yet they are calling my number, against the law, to solicit sales.   I called back the 800 number, no direct option to be removed from their database.  Stated if you wanted your number removed, to go to their website www.highlights.com   

Did that, and of course, again, no direct means to remove number.  Left comment with their contact-us box and customer service, requesting they delete my number from their call-list / database.  

Haven't reported them as breaking the law yet, but will if they continue to call after I give them a business week to stop calling.

I blocked Highlights magazine's phone number a long time ago, but my call records show they call 5 to 6 times a day, every day! I called them and told them to stop calling, but the calls keep coming. Their customer service is TERRIBLE.

Unfortunately, my daughter got a subscription as a gift and as the expiration date nears, so does the frequency of the calls.

I strongly advise everyone to never buy Highlights based on their aggressive sales practices.

Dont know who keeps calling

Called the number..yep, "Highlights for Children". I purchased a subscription for granddaughter as Christmas gift. It's been paid for & is a new subscription so have no idea why they are calling?? Interesting as when I called back w/in 10 minutes to verify caller,  I got a recording saying they were closed for the MLK holiday.

I have been receiving call's from this Number 800-874-8816.  I have no idea who they are.  I want them identify themselves.

Called me, too, but grandchildren's subscription does not expire for three years.  Probably trying to sell Hidden Pictures books.

I get a call from this number 4 to 5 times a day.  I'm guessing it's Highlights........was a subscriber, but did not renew.  And, because of these annoying calls, will NOT renew.
I am on the no call list, but I guess that doesn't hold much water....

Have been getting calls from this number and have not been answering.  I finally answered and told them not to call my number again.  They keep calling.  I did have have a subscription to Highlights and did not renew it.  I definitely would not renew it now!  I just wish they would stop calling.

Got a gift subscription from a grandparent. These people started calling us every day around noon for weeks. I was always on the phone and couldn't pick up previously. Answered today, told them it was a gift and wouldn't renew, and they tried to cross-sell another product. Finally got rid of them after 10 minutes.
