Is a collection agency, they called me very aggressive, they had my address right, but not my name, still asking me for money... Oh, Canada!

keep calling, leav no message, get calls about 4 times a day always after 4pm

Scotia bank calling me to ask if I wanted a new credit card.

Claimed to be a courtesy call from our bank, but did not display institution name;  therefore, a scam.

They were scamming you. It wasn't really Scotiabank. Never give account details, even if they seem legit.

Not legit collection agency. They just were trying to get your bank info or some cash!

She offered a Gold Scotia card with 15K points (i think) which is equivalent to $150. No credit check No application.

called on 3rd, 20th, 24th and 25th of July. Did not leave message and called at different times. I do banking with Scotia but deal solely with them at the cash.

didn't answer the call, when called back it was a fax machine

This number has called me several time, almost daily , for the last 2 months. When I call back there is a loud noise like a fax machine...really annoying!

claimed to be scotia bank, returned call and got loud fax squealing. scam

They have been calling me every freaking day for the past month and I haven't answered! Today they even called me at 8 am (before it was always in the evening). When I called back there was a fax machine noise. Reading all these posts from other people I can't wait until they call me back so that I can give them a piece of my mind!!!
