This number showed up on a PayPal receipt that was emailed to me for a purchase of $896.83 from Getmesky Inc.. I did not make this purchase and I did not call the number.

If you have a paypal account, you should check and see if any charges were made. Usually this sort of scam works by sending a phony invoice/receipt and getting you to call the crooks. The crooks will often try to get you to let them on your computer.

NEVER Let strangers you call or who call you have access to your computer.

Pay Pal Fraud email

I had a similar email receipt from "PayPal."  The amount was exactly the same as yours, but the phone number associated with Getmesky Inc. was different.  1-877-629-1317.  The email address of the sender is jabilotip53935@gmail.com.  I've checked my PayPal account and, so far at least, nothing has been charged against my account.

PayPal does NOT use a free Gmail account!!
