Recorded voice claiming they were from the social security department and my soc sec number had been comprimised, press 1 if I wanted to take action so I pressed 1 and said nothing, all I heard was the background sounds of a large room, so I said that I could hang on the phone all day long so they hung up..mmmm..me thinks this is a scam!! Got a similar call from 888-143-4323
