I called this number by mistake while trying to call to activate card.  I dialed 8 instead of 6.  Girl answered saying that had special promotion and that I would receive $100 gift card for $1.95 charge to my credit card.  My bank has had similar promotions, so I accepted and gave her my credit card number thinking that she would be activating the card.  She then told me that I would be getting (online?) magazines and that my card would be charged $39.95 monthly on my credit card if I did not cancel within 30 days.  I asked how I could cancel.  She gave me 2 phone
numbers:  866-795-5818 and 866-795-3088.  She said that I could cancel on Wednesday.  I then asked her again if my card had been activated.  She said "No.  You have to call another number to do that and gave me: 800-555-1212 (information!) And hung up.  My husband called to activate his card and immediately got the activation recording.  He had dialed correctly. I tried to call both numbers that she gave me and got a recording stating that business hours were from 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday but did not give a business name.  SCAM!!! Needless to say, I called and cancelled my new card.
