This is from D.R.G. & Associates (202-556-2692 & 702-479-5240) who violate the FTC laws regarding collections.  If you need help to file a complaint on this company and there patience contact Krohn & Moss at 323-988-2400.

This company called my company and immediately the man identified himself as "Mr. Dixon" and started to scream at me.  Cussed me out and said "read the [***] paper I just sent you". I am a debt collector and want paid.  Then I hung up on him.

They called me from 1-800-880-5506.
The Mr. Dixon was a total jerk.

Krohn & Moss at 323-988-2400 must be associated with D.R.G & Associates.  I called them to file a complaint and as soon as I said D.R.G & associates they hung up on me.

They just called me left a message saying they are investigating a bank fraud.  It is against the law to say you are investigating a case, when you are actually collecting on a debt.

I just got a call from this collector...they want you to call back so they lie to say they are investigating and need to hear back from you to get you interviewed...DO NOT CALL BACK! they call so much i feel like i'm being harrased, even afraid to answer my phone

Hmm..reading the other posts here and it appears they may be the same as IRG & Assoc. I recognized the area code 202 number. IRG called me and my boyfriend (looking for me) trying to get me to pay a debt that had already been paid. They acknowledged that I paid the debt but they wanted $1k in intrest and other fees. As of last week me and my boyfriend started getting calls from 415-200-0519 asking to call back 800-880-5506 because there is a file in thier office that "warrants" a return call. Well again, I paid my debt and I am not going to pay interest.

I also find it funny how they went from IRG to DRG.

I received a call from a lady at this number on my business phone for someone that no longer works here.  I advised her we had no one here by that name, she started threatening me stating she was going to send the police over to investigate.  I said go right ahead.  She hung up on me and the police never showed.  They call still from an automated recording and refuse to remove my business line from their list.  Before when the former employee was here that they were calling about, they would call her three times a day.  Once i advised them to please contact her at home.  The divulged all this information about her saying they were investigating her for bank fraud.  I told them this was none of my business but they kept going.  I had to hang up on them.   My employee stated she took one of those high interest loans and that she couldn't keep up with the interest and it is not fraud it is a simple collection call.

I received a letter from D.R.G. & Associates requesting a large sum of money.  saying  that I owed to a company I never heard of under the name BMG, when I looked up the company it is a music company and in looking up D.R.G. with the BBB they are not listed with them in the state of NV. or any where else which makes me wonder are they for real. and what company would ask you to pay  bank of america and not make the check payable to them.

About a month ago I and my old roommate got a call (he answered, I did not) stating I was being sued for check fraud.  He gave me the name and number of this place...  Jennifer Mills was the name he said.  The number, and unlisted Las Vegas landline.  An 800 number as well.  Of course, no where on earth does this place exist.

This past week...  I get a letter from them with their bogus address.  I looked it up, contacted directory assistance, etc...  They have NEVER heard of this group of Lawyers (my ass).  Their fax is from DC... their postmark was from Rochester NY...  

So, I have contacted the attorney general in regards to this, considering that they discussed this supposed case a month ago with a third party.  Plus, with me not calling them back (I am in process of sending out all the letters to put them in their place), they have also not confirmed that the phone number they have is correct, but left the same "check fraud" message on my voicemail...  

Isn't pretending to be an officer of the court against the LAW?  Let the games begin.  On one final note...  in their letter, they give a Bank of America account number to make a payment to??????

Hey there !! Need some help to here , been getting harrastment calls yep form a hi paying addvance loan , and yep can pay it off . Stuck with school, kids, and all my bills, now they say that there's a fraud check case in my county which is Texas that I need to contact them with my attorney man [***] I don't even have money for gas and now they need my attorney ?! And it scares the f n off me !! Don't know what to do? Can I go to jail!! For this cuz I honestly don have a dime with all the student loans and other bills!

They are scum.  Read my previous post.  They are breaking the law.  They are not listed anywhere except in this type of website/etc.  I would lay money they are the same morons from New York that used to call themselves Check and Credit Services.  Any name associated with them and their "base" of Nevada...  ARE NOT ON THE BAR ASSOCIATION of NEVADA.  They are not lawyers. All of my complaints have been filed to get rid of them.

They called me at my job...how do you file a complaint to keep them from calling?

This will provide you with the various letters that you will need and how you need to send them.  Included are dispute letter, stop calling letters.  They must provide you in writing a debt validation letter... My prediction is that you will get the same stupid thing I got.  

Please read my previous posts in regards to this place.  They are NOT attorneys.  They state they are and that is AGAINST the law.  To contact your state's attorney, you can log into you own state's website to get to that and file a complaint.

yea i got a call from 800 880 5506 today, i wasnt home and my daughter answered the phone and they told her that it was a law office and his name was mark and that i was being charged with petty theft and i needed to call them back. now my daughter is freakin out tryin to figure out what its about. i had a lawyer tell me before that once you tell them not to call you that they are harassing you they can not call you anymore is that true? i tried looking up the number on the reverse look up and it doesnt have anything listed.

I received a voicemail from 800-880-5506 today around noon at work asking for someone that may or may not still work here (I am new here).

Mark Spencer is the alias that the caller used... and he even gave a case number for a "civil complaint" case that was being lobbied against the person he probably made up.

I will be following this website, keep it up to date. I do not want to keep receiving rubbish voicemails on my work line. :/

Got a call from this number (702-479-5240) at my work. Guy said his name was Mark Spencer and he was calling from DRG & Associates. Said I was named in a civil suit for fraud, etc etc. from a loan supposedly 4-5 yrs ago. He then decided to get huffy & puffy when I told him I am at work I need a # to call you back. He kept talking and talking, getting more and more angry when I kept telling him I am at work, I cannot talk, and then he gave this # to call 1-800-880-5506. He then said "I know where you live & where you work", and you need to call this number back today before 5 or we will take further action and the attorney is John Shapiro. First of all, they probably don't thinks calls are recorded at some jobs & that was clearly a!!!threat!!! DUMBA**!!! So I decided to research the phone #'s he gave and seen others were getting the same thing done to them! Who in the hell are these lowlifes! Come to find out, there is no John Shapiro, no DRG & Associates, and the business I found online that is named that, is a construction company. If they knew where I lived, they obviously have my address, so then why have I not received any letters from them stating the "so-called" civil suit/charges, etc. etc. Get a life you scumbags!
