So sick of these people calling my phone. I'm to the point of telling them to contact my Lawyer if they don't stop. This is harassing and illegal. It is not Direct tv/At&t because I called Direct tv to see. Please find u something better to do than trying to take people's money. I tell u what!! How about get a job for starters

That's really scary since I called Direct tv personally to ask if this was a real num. They said no. Be careful

This was the callback number they left in the message, caller ID actually shows up as "no caller ID" which is a huge red flag to me.

Asian male caller, very broken English, wanted to know about my payment for direct tv, I've never had someone call for a payment. Went I confronted him about that he become very flustered and didn't know what to say. SCAM! I'M KEEPING A WHISTLE READY FOR NEXT CALL!

Looking to damage your own hearing, are you? Because that's all you'll do with your little stunt. Modern phone systems don't transmit sounds at harmful levels. Skip the whistle and block the number instead.

Got this message today, they had my correct account number, I freaked because I just had to change bank cards due to "a merchant" scam at the bank, so I thought something had gone wrong on my bill pay. Wrong. This recorded message tried to sell me everything from roadside assistance, to first alert button, to a competitors cable.WTF? Why doesn't something get done about this scam [***]?

They call in broken English and try to connect you to directv and I’ve been a direct customer for years they never call and put you through not to mention I paid my bill last month and directv actually has a center in the u.s. it’s a scam. I hope they call again I’m giving them a used visa gift card number

It comes up on caller ID as out of area. Then gives this number to call  U never called back, not falling for that !!

I have recieved multiple emails from them saying that my payments are late funny thing is i never had a account with them

800-880-9064 calls & hangs up. When I call back a person on the phone says they are from ATT and need my account number. I ask what company it is and what are they calling for. Then they say Direct TV - so I reply that they just said it was ATT, they say they are both companies. They said I owe money to an account. I told them I don't have an account and I waited. The caller said something about me not cooperating and not hanging up the phone...

Yes it`s Directv , and I do owe them money. had an account for years though it was a very grey area as I am in Canada. They make it impossible for someone out of country to cancel account, so I was forced to report credit card lost  and just wait for them to kill account, they certainly string you along, takes for ever, first they state they will give me 250 off outstanding bill if I phone and or make payment. I always pay my bills but I want out and they are vultures, kinda like escaping a cult. I dont answer their calls or emails, cut it off already

Received this call as an Unknown # and they left a message claiming to be AT&T and to call back 1-800-880-9064 regarding my account

I didn't get a call from this number. I got an e-mail telling me to call this number. So, I searched it and found this site. I am past due on my DirecTV account, which is probably why I got the e-mail. Those scammers are getting good. Anyway, the e-mail promises they will cut my past due balance by 50% and waive any late charges or associated fees and to call this number to take advantage of this limited time deal. I'll call DirecTV and talk to the billing department and confirm. But, I am pretty sure it's bogus. So, watch your e-mails, as well.
