- BrandonIt's owned by "Los Angeles Times".
- Caller: Los Angeles Times
- NOELIt would be helpful if they identified themselves and who they are calling when leaving a message. I am so tired of people not leaving appropriate messages. We have bill collectors calling for people who used to have our number years ago. We keep trying to explain that we are not the person(s) they are looking for and they just keep calling day after day.
- Caller: Los Angeles Times
- Call type: Debt collector
- Dave Collins| 2 repliesI just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. I ~use to~ subscribe to the Los Angeles Times, but cancelled out after the subscription ran out in February...why they're calling is obvious...they want me to renew my subscription - which I won't...
No TV Guide on Sunday is but one reason, the other being late or missed delivery - I asked them to put it on the porch. They left it at the top of the driveway, and 8 out of 10 times someone would steal it...
Los Angeles Times NOW HEAR THIS: I'm not interested!!!! So [***]!!!!- Caller: LA Times

- JACKIEI keep getting calls from this number saying they are from MICROSOPFT WINDWOWS.
- Caller: MICROSOFT WINDOWS--FAKE
- ChrisThey called again early this morning on a Friday at 11:21 AM PDT. This is an invasion of privacy. I called the cops.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- WARNING ==>SCAM ALERT<==Caller left a robot message for free access to digital LA TIMES NEWSPAPER with a daily newspaper delivery subscription but the caller id said “TOLL FREE CALLER” and not LA TIMES which probably means scammer/telemarketer. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 types of traces and all were completely blocked. No person or business name, no general location(City, County, State, Country etc.) and no service providers showed up. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location by blocking a trace. This is the worse kind of scammer that is probably operating from a foreign country that is either spoofing dead phone numbers and/or using a Voip system while phishing for personal information and running a scam(s) (i.e. Newspaper Subscription etc.). This is an extremely high tech scammer so beware. DO NOT ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities.
NOTE: The message said to call 1-800-888-4637 to be taken off their call list or go to latimes.com

- UnemployableWhether this is really the LA Times or some kind of scam, I don't want to talk to either.
I've had delivery problems with my paper a few weeks ago and received robo-calls to "follow up" on whether I finally got a paper or not. But the ID always said "LA Times".
This time it was "Toll Free Call." What the heck does that mean? Obviously it's toll free from the area code but who they are and what do they want? Of course no message. It was around lunch time yesterday.
I never answer calls from numbers or ID's I don't recognize. If it's legit, the caller will leave a message for me, using my name. Even legit businesses may have "Unknown" show up on their ID, depending on the type of equipment used.- Caller: "Toll Free Call"
- GrantReceived a call 6/24/16. Left no message. Caller ID was "Toll Free Call". Now blocked.
