This number has called me on 7/15, 7/16, 7/18, 7/22, 7/26, 7/27, 7/30, and 8/3. Never left a voicemail except today, where it was an Indian sounding guy saying "hello?" three times. I have attempted to answer several times and it sounds as someone is in the background breathing but will never speak. I have also called back and the phone clicks as if it is transferring you several times, then again the sound of someone breathing, but not responding. I have done this several times and have different call lengths that would support the theory. Either way, I am going to block this number with my carrier and would advise you to do the same if you are getting calls from this number.

This number has called me multiple times a week for the last couple months. Never leaves a voicemail.

8008885656 keeps calling but when answered there is pause then hangs up. 2nd call today, two yesterday never answered never picked up when returned call. I blew up an "IRS Special Agent" scammer calling from a spoofed CA area code phone the day before and I don't believe it is a coincidence that these calls started immediately after.

they are calling my home 10 times a day scaming saying they are from IRS

Caller says he was calling about my windows computer from HP.  That's as far as he got.  I use Apple computers.  800 888 5656

Also got a caller trying the HP computer scam. As soon as I said I didn't use HP, he hung up.

Calls but never leaves a message. I NEVER answer ant call if I don't know the number. If someone I know calls and I don't answer they will leave a message. BLOCKED this number thru my phone server and. All calls like this.

800-800-5656 has called - -  sounds of belligerence for a few seconds then hangs up. Other calls leaves no messages.

Calls several times a day. Claims to be Microsoft regarding my Windows computer.

Received a call a few minutes ago.  They asked for me by my full name.  Man said he was from windows tech. support and stated that my computer was sending many messages about errors on my computer.  I responded by telling him he was a scammer and hung up.  I have blocked the number, but wonder how he knew my name and it worries me.

Got a call from some Indian guy who said I had a Windows problem.  Told me to hit the windows key, open the run box and type in tinyurl.com.  At that point I told him he was a scammer and I was reporting him and he immediately got belligerent.  I hung up on him.  I had him blocked so I'm wondering how he got through in the first place.

I received a call from this number and the man said that he was with the HP technical support team calling to let me know that someone was downloading malicious software to my computer and they were courtesy calling to help me fix it. I recently had work done on my computer at HP (likely the source of my personal information)  and said I did not have my computer available for any help to be granted. They said that they would arrange for a callback but I'm calling BS on this.

Ive recently had my hp computer fixed and this number called me once,  and I never answered.  Then he called me today , I answered to see who it was.  He stated my first name and told me there was 800 downloaded files on my computer,  then asked me if I'm the primary computer user,  then asked for my age.  I told him and he said look at the error report on my conputer and call them back.  I called it back and apparently my area code doesn't support that number. I think it's Bs because I don't have anything downloaded on my pc besides windows , and the error report shows 0 threats found . Watch this number guys

Keeps calling and calling and calling and won't leave a message. Also recently had my HP computer repaired. Getting pretty angry since they probably got my personal information from there and I've already had to deal with HP's terrible customer service. Now this?

Got a call this morning from this number. He had an Indian accent and said his name was Christopher Paul. He said that he was calling in regards to my HP Computer and claimed that there were urgent notifications coming from my IP address. He went on to explain that my computer was downloading harmful and malicious content and asked if I was aware of this. Now while I do have an HP, the computer has been broken and unused for 3 months. lol As soon as I said this he was very eager to hang up. These are the same D-bags that pretend to be the IRS. If this number calls, just ignore it and block the number.

They speak broken English, call regularly and hang up (when I say we are a law office), so this time I just said "HELLO".  So he starts in with "we are your technical support".  Really, we have a local IT team I say.  Then he follows up with "oh, we are with Windows" (umm, that would be Microsoft not Windows bub).  I cut him off right there and told him that we are not going to do this and hung up.  Some sort of scam.

P.S. - this time they asked for me specifically - so they are actively mining websites and professional profile pages for contact persons at companies.

Only a stupid person returns these calls or picks up.
