Left no message on voicemail. this number is now blocked

Babbling about AT&T..................."I noticed you're paying over $100 for three services"............I hung up.

Yet one more SCAM Caller re-using a 800 # that has been decommissioned.

BLOCKED!

Called on Thanksgiving, yammering about how many thousands of dollars you can save with AT&T.  I hung up.

Phone rang, answered and no one said a word.  Dialed back and got a message that calling cards were no longer good.  I wasn't using a calling card.

800) 888-8000. Yeah, that's a plausible number. Scumbags.

I received a call from 800-888-8000 this afternoon at 6:30 pm. From previous comments on Internet it appears that this number is a decommissioned phone number previously used by a dry cleaning company in San Diego California. Also looking at the many numbers associated with this number it's obvious there is scam activity.

Also, this means that the number is now being spoofed by scammers. Legitimate businesses don't spoof phone numbers. The Caller ID only showed the number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message because I don't have Voice Mail. Since most scammers and telemarketers use autodialers this won't be their last time calling so I need to go ahead and block now.

Unrecognized number.  Blocked for the future.  Scumbags and thieves.

Using a discontinued number.  AT&T with their multiple scams or scammers act as AT&T.  Blocked this number.

Got a call from (800) 888-8000 this morning. Ironically, the number is also the title of side a and side b of a 7" 45rpm Reggae dance record from 1996. GO figure.
