A recording from a bank. Wrong number I suppose. I don't have an account there.

This will always call on my cellphone, but never leave message.

This number is an actual number for collections at Bank of Hawaii.  The same thing happened to me.  I looked up the bank contact information on the internet web page and called the bank directly to let them know what was happening. Turns out they were collecting from someone who had listed my phone number (probably a random guess).  The collections office at the bank apologized and took my number off the records.  I recommend you do the same if this happens to you again.

I do have a account with them, but they asked for my ss#, which I don't give anyone; going to check in person tomorrow.

I reported it and they said they never call and ask for a ss#

I called customer service and they said it was a phishing scam...they NEVER call YOU to request person verification info and or ss#...do not respond and report it to bank of hawaii and your telephone carrier!

Just recieved a call today from that number...they asked my last four digit of social security and my birthdate...lucky im out of load..and the line was cut.

Call ask forr ss dob and full name.... negative

"This is Bank of Hawaii with an important call. If this is Connie **** (close to my name but no cigar). Please contact us at 1-877-409-9273 no later than May 11 2017 and enter pin number 562-2891 prompted. Thank you from Bank of Hawaii. Goodbye."

Not going to try it - 877-409-9273 isn't a number listed for Bankoh and they don't have office hours at the time I received the call. I'll call the bank myself Monday but I have a feeling it's a scam.

Had a call from 800-888-9275 same bank of hawaii message as listed above with the alternate number and pin. I contacted bank of hawaii customer service and told her the message and phone numbers that was left on my answering machine. She told me the bank has phone prefixes but this number is not a bank of hawaii number. I told her then someone is out their missrepresenting bank of hawaii. She was going to pass info along to their security personel to investigate further. I would love to see this person or group where i can pass on some of this frustration in person.

Had a call from 18008889275 from bank of hawaii recording asking for the last 4 digit of my ssn on sat evening  when boh hawaii is closed on sat and sun.???

Received a message on voicemail from Bank of Hawaii 1-800-888-9275, regarding important information. Asked that I call 1-877-409-9273 and to enter a pin #. Immediately called Bank of Hawaii to verify and according to the customer service representative, they've received numerous calls about this number and that it was a scam.

Received call from 1-800-888-9275.  Message, “This is Bank of Hawaii with an important call for (me).  Please contact us at 1-877-498-9273 by Wednesday, July 27, 2022 and enter PIN number 827048 when prompted.  Thank you for Bank of Hawaii, Goodbye.”  After reading the comments from others, I’ll let BOH know about the call.

Looks like they are still trying this scam. BOH doesn't have my cell number (it only has limited coverage , and rang yesterday when I was on the road, and in coverage). No msg , but also I wasn't able to open the call at the time, so it rang until I hit decline the call. It never tried again, while I was on the road, and where I live it won't ever connect, nor will I get messages until I once again leave my off grid location with the phone.

BOH online can message me, and I will get email notification if they really want me. nothing from the real deal... Sure fire scam.....
