Scam email sent regarding a fake two year purchase of "Geek Squard Tech Support". Emailed from an internet code from Thailand. This is the phone number listed for the Customer Support Desk.

Same experience, this number is used in a scam E-mail from Thailand that claims to be from the Geek Squad.

Same scam email from the same address, only this time masquerading as a Paypal notification for the unauthorized purchase of an iphone, featuring that number as their 'fraud department' in case of error. Keep an eye out for its further mutations.

Scam email saying a $600 iPhone would be shipped to the address I requested. Usual poor grammar: "You’ve 24 hrs from this transaction to charge dispute. If you’ve not authorized this transaction, please call PayPal fraud department at +1-800-890-9249. to block this transaction." My pet peeve is scammers with poor grammar. Pu some effort into it if you want to steal my money.

I just received an email claiming to be a PayPal receipt for a $299 iPhone. This number is listed as the number to call to cancel. Fortunately for many who will get this, it doesn't appear to have embedded links to start logging on, surrendering your credentials.

Mine is an email stating I made the purchase through paypal and to call that number to cancel but to make sure my computer was on when I did. lol
