These people keep calling my cell.  So I called them and this rude idiot tried telling me that I owe them $1990,00.  I had taken a small payday loan 3 yrs. ago when I got sick and was hospitalized.  This was a very big mistake but I paid it in full.  This guy is telling me I owe 2 companies which I have never heard of.

He stated that he sent a letter to my bank and he knew the name of my bank asking if these funds were deposited in my checking account and I closed out my account.  So they are taking me to court I stated I welcome going to court, and he started yelling at me.  I yelled back and told him I was contacting the Attorney General and the better business bureau.

Just beware of the nasty scam artists and these people at this phone # 800-895-0988 are major scam artists.

Weird thing is...This company is not a scam. This company engages in third party debt collection among other things. The reason why this company would have your information is not weird at all. YOU PROVIDED IT ONLINE. There is no weirdness. If this company has your information it is because you owe someone money.

100% untrue & you know it. Millions of Americans are getting phone calls not just on fake debts, but debts that are by law is not collectable. There are far too many shills & trolls posting comments just like yours on 800 notes.

No one can legally contact your bank about your account except you or someone you give power of attorney to. Feel free to contact anyone you like and let them know that you do not pay your bills. Not scam artists. 3rd party debt collectors. BTW the BBB is actually a scam. It is a private entity that is not regulated. You have to pay for membership to get "accreditation" with the BBB. They are not affiliated with the government at the state or federal level.

Weird thing. You have provided no proof that anyone posting here owes a debt. You have not named your company, the address, the CEO, your job, how long your company has been in business, etc. Are you ashamed of who you work for? Yes, a very weird thing! [:]

You owe me $1,000.  You put your information online, therefore it must be true that you owe me.  Oh, and I only take prepaid cards or Western Union.  Chop chop!  Pay up!

Why is it the company is not a scam, it is a legitimate firm collecting on a debt, but you shills never ever say the company name.  Why is that?  If they are indeed legitimate, then they should be registered in the state they are doing business in and that is a matter of public record.  If you told us the name, we could determine within minutes if it was indeed a real company or not.  Or is that why you don't want to tell us, because you know we will find out the truth?

In my case the debt was real, the debt collector was real, but the debt was not mine.  They did not know my name. They knew the name of the deadbeat who bought a car he didn't plan to pay for.  He gave a fake phone number on the loan application.  That number was in use, it was my cell phone number.

Another way they could have your name and phone number is all of the security breaches at credit card companies that have happened lately.  I may owe Penny's $200.  I don't owe City Bank $2000.

so, they call from 754 444 3395. they don't actually ring on your phone but go straight to voicemail. they state we are calling (first name and last name) about a returned item from your bank please call us back or have your legal counsel contact us.

so the story goes as far as what they are saying, I took out a pay day loan in 2011 and didnt pay it back. Then the loan company took me to collections, but now they are sending me to court through this company.

I never pulled a payday loan. they have all my old information. phone number, address, references names, social security number. I had only applied for a loan but was never given the loan. Nothing was ever deposited in my account. Payday loans have to verify employment and they also have to let you lknow how much money they are going to be depositing into your account. I never once heard from this loan company about missing my supposed loan payment and I never recieved any certified mail about anything going to collections. they wont give you any information about the loan they say legal has all your information and will see you in court. Oh and they say if I dont opt to pay them to to resolve this they will take you to court.

This is a scam. please dont pay any money to these people, they tried to do this to my mother in law and my grandmother.v My grandmother ia a widow and cant even pull out any loans because she doesnt work.

The call actually came from Asset Management at 754-444-3395 and gave the number above to return the call. These people keep calling my number for my daughter who does not live with me.  they say she borrowed $300 two years ago and told the bank not to pay it. Funny thing is they have her SSN, address and cell phone # but call me.  They stated she gave her brothers and named them as well as her ex-husband and his wife and named them as well as references but didn't know my name! (Why would she give her ex-husband and wife as a reference?) I requested that they email or fax me information but they refused stating they had sent it to her email address, which they correctly quoted. They also knew where she previously worked.  They stated a process server would serve her with papers this week, yet they called my number again today.  From my business experience, a legitimate lawyer, etc. will not give any information except to the person named, not a relative.
