Suggesting computer issues sounds like a Chinese caller. The message is erroneous as I don't have a computer.

This phone number is located in the Philippines.  I spoke to a female quite a few times.  She does not speak very good English and is quite hard understand.  If you ask to speak to a representative that does speak English you might be put on hold for along time. My go phone plan was renewing every month very nicely, but I was constantly getting...text messages that my go phone plan did not renew.  They might be using an autodialer, but might not.  I recently got a text from a friend of this young ladies who does speak better English. Arvin from the Philippines.  I know you are trying to teach the employees from the Philippines how to speak English. There is a company listed on the internet called ABEKA.  You might be able to get some Phonic Curriculum from them for a small price. But you'd have to look them up on the internet and asked if they do business with the Philippine and if they would send you a catalog. Good Luck.

You guys have to understand something.  These callers are spoofing legitimate phone numbers of unsuspecting companies.  I have receive calls from the IRS toll free number in the past.  Go look up spoofing on the IRS website.  This number is an AT&T number that you have to use to contact them.  They don't have to contact you using this number.  The callers are false.  Don't blame AT&T.

Received call from this number, an automated message stated my AT&T account was about to expire. I do not have AT&T.

Identified as AT&T
They are NOT.  Wanted my SS and passcode.
Said my phone was being disconnected.

I completely agree David's post from last February. The voicemail message was a poor quality automated voice, saying " If you want to speak to an AT&T representative, press 2."

Any automated message that would actually be from AT&T  would sound professional, and would begin with the sonic brand sound indicator, known as the AT&T Sparkle Tone.

Also, when I googled the phone number, I found non-AT&T  websites, describing the number as Customer service for AT&T goPhone. But, the thing is, AT&T recently discontinued the goPhone brand! It's now called AT&T Prepaid (https://www.att.com/support/gophone.html) - although the URL hasn't changed...

This is clearly a case of scammers trying to take advantage of a business name, that the legitimate company has recently stopped using, for fraudulent purposes.

Called, didn't answer. Left voicemail saying my AT&T account is suspended, almost verbatim from It's Not Legit's post. Uh huh... sure. Contacted AT&T Wireless to let them know their customer service line is being spoofed.

Just called, was a totally janky AT&T spoofed automated line. I pressed # about a million times but they eventually hung up on me.

This phone number is from a prepaid GoPhone Calling card and was located in the Phillippines. Very obnoxious caller that could hardly speak English. I apparently got mad at her "mile a minute speech" and inability to slow down when speaking a broken English Phillipino language, and gave her a phone number for speech lessions and curriculum. I'm looking at an old receipt and thankful that I went to contract with a company..., as this little pest was just that and would not leave people alone. Another phone number tied into this was 1-866-975-0050.

Call on 1-2-18.  Did not recognize number so did not answer.  Caller left no message.  Must be fraud or scam!!!

I just got a message from this number saying my AT&T account has been suspended.  I’ve never had any sort of account with them.  Has to be a scam.
