- HopeI just received a call from this number as again.(They were on the other line and after a few seconds of me saying hello they hung up). The first time they told me that my laptop was on it's way I just needed to confirm the $40 a month plan in order to ship. Well guess what...I didn't order a laptop. But whoever did is using my home address, phone number, and they even made a fake email address with my middle name and birth date. Little do they know a fraud alert was placed on all my accounts and a police report was filed. The representative for the company was a younger man in his 20's that didn't want to cancel the order nor did he want to give me his name or transfer me to his supervisor. Beware People!

- AnonymousThis is MGD.com. They are kind of like a Rent a Center in terms of their markup on products, but they do high approvals for electronics like computers, TVs, gaming systems, etc. I looked into them when I was considering a new TV because I got a preapproval of credit for $2500. The interest rate and markup on the products is outrageous, so I didn't bother with filling out the rest of the application. They have called me intermittently for the past year about this credit offer "expiring". I would be wary if I were anyone on accepting this kind of offer. You're better off finding refurbished products at a lower price on eBay.

- StacyHOver the past year I really started to clean up my finances. They called me out of the blue today and told me that I had applied over 2 years ago and got denied, but they were calling me to let me know I had 1900 available. Like they just decided after 2 years to give me a line of credit. I didn't want anything to do with them or there high priced merchandise.
So when I called them back it's basically a preapproved offer. So do not accept.- Caller: MDG

- Pat C| 1 replyApparently they are still going strong! They have been calling a few times a day for the past two months. Whatever floats their boat... apparently there's nothing we can do about calls like this.

- BigA replies to Pat COf course there is. It is call a letter, sent certified, return receipt mail. I guess the problem would be that you have to actually do something to make the calls stop because complaining sure isn't getting you anywhere.

- BigAIt took me a bit to find out what sort of interest rates they charge. Almost 36%. A $3000 purchase would end up costing you $1,716 more in interest charges. Totally nuts and a real ripoff.
