2 weeks ago, I kept getting calls for a survey, at first I thought it was the hospital itself (Hackensack Meridian). I've never been there, assumed it was a wrong number. Today I get one about my bill being due, 3 of my doctors belong to them. I just received the bill last weekend, and statement date was 8/21. It was legit, they had my acct number that matched, but I was PO'd. I don't need that kind of crap. I called to complain, the doctor appt confirmations are tied into the billing, but I don't care. I took them both out of system.

Whether it's Hackensack Meridian or someone spoofing their number....either way - they are both CROOKS. Glad my call blocker intercepts these calls as SPAM.  :)

The call was made to me that stated I owned over $400 dollars. I called back. They confirm my debt. Told agent I will call back after a check with my insurance company (they said the debt was false), I called back, all of a sudden, i had no debt, Which legally authority should this be reported

Called Hackensack Meridian because of a billing issue and I was talking to someone in another country, they didn't understand and said I owed $$, they wanted me to just pay. I asked to speak to an American they (She) said I can't do that. WTF Something is wrong with this medical billing process, they are crooks!

I would call that hospital directly.  From what I read on their website you may not have to pay any other charges.

Automated call, woman's voice stating that I owed Hackensack Meridian and payment was expected. I hung up. Hackensack  Meridian does not call about payments due. I have no outstanding bills due to Hackensack.
