This number is listed on a bulk mailing letter that includes a fake check for $40G and instructions to call this number to consolidate your credit card debt under a lower interest rate.  This is Pennon Partners, who trolls for "customers" by bulk mail, phone spam, and Internet ads.  The lower-your-interest-rate prose is the same spiel that Card Services phone spam and their imitators have used for decades.  You can do better yourself by getting a new credit card and using a zero-interest balance transfer.  Most credit cards offer zero interest on transferred balances for the first year for new users (transfer again if the balance is still huge at the end of the year).  If you use one of these spam-advertised guys, then at best, they get a commission that can only come out of your pocket, and they may invoke some debt relief provision without your knowledge or permission that dings your credit rating for many years -- or worse, simply steal your identity, and they don't do anything you can't do yourself quite easily.

Number is a new unlisted 800 number.  Web URL given is mypennon.com/<your first name> which is a GoDaddy hosted anonymous site, meaning that a serious subpoena is needed to locate and identify these guys.  Any GoDaddy site is unlikely to be an identity theft outfit but Reddit says that these guys have done business as "Jayhawk Advisors, Clay Advisors, Pine Advisors, Colony Associates, Alamo Associates, White Mountain Partners, Tuck Associates, August Funding, Pebblestone Financial, Golden State Partners, Gladiator Lending, Derby Advisors, Punch Associates, and Trout Associates."  Do an Internet search on "Pennon Partners" for more information.

Note that if you have a huge credit card debt, your best solution is (a) transfer the balance yourself to a new card at zero interest and (b) stop using your credit cards until the debt is paid off, possibly years if you are of limited means.  Remember that you got where you are because credit cards "feel" like free money, but credit card use is a very expensive way to buy things on credit.  Talk to a debt counselor or your bank for professional guidance.  Do NOT use a credit repair service or a loan service; call a debt counselor and do what they recommend.
