Called my cell phone yesterday. No message left. Anybody knows who is using this phone number?

Received a call from this number today.  Didn't leave a message.  Can't find them on yellowpages reverse phone number look-up.  Who is this?

1*800*910*5856 has called numerous times.  Doesn't leave a message.  When I pick up to answer there is nothing but dead air.  Who is this company?  I would like to file a complaint. Thanks!

dead air-  seems to be a pattern

called my number today....tape recorded voice asked if this was "so and so" (used a female name) and said if i was not that person to press 2.  i pressed 2 and the call was ended.  not sure what this is....cannot find anything on number searches.

I got the same thing except after the press 2 bit it said that person needed to call back at a different number right away and gave a verification code.

I received this same call today right up 6 PM Central time... came from the same 800-910-5856 phone number.  Message started playing immediately with a pre-recorded low-quality message that was computerized.  Said I needed to call a number for a 'personal matter' but the voicemail message was half cut off.  Gave a confirmation code that was half spoken by a human and half by a computer.

Received several calls, poor quality or dead air.

Got a call from this number today.  Didn't leave a message, so I'm guessing it's a credit agency, or someone who doesn't want to reveal themselves until they have live contact with someone.

They call every day at least once...often twice. However, nobody seems to be on the other end...

Same poor quality goofy recording then the call terminates. My only guess is they are confirming good phone numbers then selling the list to telemarketers. Maybe numbers where the person presses a button has a higher value because it shows they will listen to about anything and still try to make the computer happy.

On June 28th 'Meg (again)' submitted a post that noted the company as:
Nelson Watson & Associates, LLC.  I can also say that after receiving at least 3 of these calls and not answering, I finally called the number back.  I was automatically placed on hold, with dreary elevator music, and a rude gentleman came on the line, named the company I mentioned above, and as I proceeded to ask him to repeat his company name, blurted it out so fast I could barely understand him.  I told him that I missed calls from this number and wanted to know what it was in reference to, and he demanded my telephone #, not once, but twice.  Stating that "in order to find out why we contacted you, I need your number" - I thought, 'forget it', told him 'no thanks', and hung up.  I am still getting calls from this number 2 to 3 times a day.  I answered the call this morning and found dead air.  This is really, really, really annoying.

I've also been receiving missed phone calls from this number.  I don't answer and a voice mail is never left.  They call way too frequently...

I get this call all the time.  I've reported it to the Do Not Call list a couple of times now.  The message left is always cut off at the beginning, and a muffled voice states that it is a call for a Josephine something-or-other, but the recording is somewhat unclear.  It's really irritating.  I wish it would go away.

Called at 8:45 this morning. Computerized voice said "If you are (person), press 1, if you are not, press 2." I hung up.
