This is a collection agency called Nelson, Watson, and Associates.

Calls my cell and leaves no message.   Really annoying.  I've received nothing from them in writing.

8009105863  these annoying people call my house all the time and leave no message.  i press redial and get an answering machine for some T_W_A_T named jennifer.  I'm blocking them and calling them back and cussing them out!  I OWE NOBODY MONEY!!!

Message rec'd from unknown caller with reference from an earlier call in the month expressing extreme urgency for a return call by a certain time.
I am a Pr. Investigator & they just may have called the wrong person.

I just got a call form these fools. They were trying to insult my intelligence by trying to say I owe money to some bank in Scottland.

Calling for someone who has never been at this number. Didn't believe us when we said we have no way of contacting the person they were looking for.

The guys asks for some lady. I say there's no one here by that name. He says this is the number she gave me. I said well there is no one that lives here by that name. He says well can I leave her a message? I said NO, I don't even know someone by that name and so you can't leave a message. How stupid is that???? The company must hire idiots, because that is only ones they can get to work for them!

I received a call from 800-910-5863.  I assume they were hired by the credit card company that I owe money to.  Can they sue me??

They can,  but you need to receive a request to appear in court in the form of a judgment.  I have been receiving calls from these people and they have threatened such.  I know what the law states on this.   For any sort judgment,  you will receive documentation from the county court with a request to appear.  If you should receive this,  do not ignore it and show up in court.    It can be handled in court without damaging your credit.   You may,  however,  want to do a search on judgments.    Once it appears on your report,  it can do a real number on you receiving future goods and services

These people have been harrasing me about my credit history. when I told them I was trying to find a way to pay them they turned into high pressure salepeople. Three different people would call me in a day. They seemed real at first, but come on? A law firm would call and tell me about the situation, but in no way would they act like they were gonna make a commision on getting my money. The last guy even started threating me, when I told him I think he's running a scam.

Case Against Debt Collector & Lawyer

LOS ANGELES (CN) – A federal judge refused to dismiss a couple’s claim that N Star Acquisitions barraged them with hostile phone calls to collect a nonexistent debt. Paul and Suzette Oei say North Star representatives called their house incessantly, trying to collect a debt the Oeis allegedly owed on an Aspire credit card account, though the Oeis said they never owned an Aspire card. Suzette claimed one worker called her at work, accused her of being a liar, and when Suzette asked him to stop calling, called another 23 times. When North Star’s attorney, Paul Carruthers, sued them, they fired back with their own lawsuit, which North Star moved to dismiss for a slew of reasons. It claimed North Star was not an actual debt collector and couldn’t be held responsible for the actions of its attorney, whom it labeled an “independent contractor.” Judge Margaret Morrow rejected these arguments, as well as the Oeis’ assertion that their emotional distress claim was “akin” to a malicious prosecution claim.

8009105863 I don't get 800 calls and since I had gotten one from Nelson, Watson & Associates before and had gotten a message that said how important it was to contact them, I figured it was them and now that I'm here I was right. The caller said a name like 3 times assuming it was mine which it wasnt but hey whatever, and then said how it was important I call them. I will look into blocking them but really I don't mind too much, it's free entertainment, at some point I will record all their messages and put them online so everyone can hear these scam artists at work.

Got a message today on my work phone from 800-910-5863 "nicole"...harassing me about some outstanding debt that is invalid.  I do not have any outstanding debts and think this has got to be fraudulent.

Got a call from them today asking for someone else and when I said I don't know them, they asked if the line belonged to our residence. Was hasty, raising her voice and rude. Says with Nelson Watts and Associates. 800 910 5863.

some guy keeps calling my phone asking for matt - he has done this twice now in the last week and does not seem to understand that he has the wrong number.

I agree, this happened today, they tripled what my ex owes (not me) and said they tack on 20% percent to what the original bill was. He started yelling and harrasing me on the phone about the debt, there was no chance to explain, he said you owe us 20% over the debt and thats it. I hung up. They can catch up with my ex about this. Very unprofessional. How can a bill from $9,000 go to $26,000, they claim they are entitled to this money. He sounded like soon backstreet thug, you owe you owe, his english wasnt even correct.
