I work for a collection agency that Kroger has hired for returned checks, you need to educate yourself about the NSF Check laws in your state

I think this is a scam .. there can't be that many idiots. I got a call from this number and never wrote any checks to anyone.. there isn't even a kroger in this state. Be careful

Never have and never will write a check to Kroger yet received a call from this number. When answered no one was in the other end. People stop trying to correct a problem with Kroger at this post. Scott appears to be running a scam to gain personal information.

How would you like them answer?  1-800-917-6484 is not a scam if found the phone number on my letter.

I got a call from this number and I have never shopped at a Kroger and I don't use checks.

After reading some of the postings here I have to wonder how we as a nation got to be a super power! This really proves Darwin's theory. Posting personal banking info on a public website thinking it's the company they need to do business with! Even after many people try to tell them not to do it.
