Called my cell phone and left no message. I called back and a lady's voice says "Please hold for Edwin Zuber". It sounds like someone answers the phone, but they won't say anything. A moment later I get a call back from a guy who sounds like he is calling me from overseas (a lot of static on the call). He asks me what company I'm calling from. I proceed to tell him, and then hae asks if I have bulk quantities of an item that a store like myself might carry (computer part). I tell him that I don't, and he hangs up the phone. I receive a lot of emails asking to order bulk quantities and I'm confident that it is a scam. I noticed that there is another complaint for the same name with 800-913-4031.

edwin zuber called looking for computers and wanted to pay for with a credit card.  The name edwin zuber did not match the cardholders numbers and the address for the card was not edwin zuber's.  He wanted fed ex to pick up today before visa can process the purchase.  It seemed very fishy to me.

It IS fishy, "Tom!"  I had a similar experience at my Ohio store.  Edwin Zuber wanted to order over $3,000 worth of merchandise and provided a second number after the first was declined.  The second did not match the cardholder's name.  He also wanted FedEx to pick up the merchandise.

Same thing is happening at my store currently with the same "Edwin Zuber".  Both cards were stolen.  We have a very fast turn around in our store so we didn't have time to cancel the order.  However I am still in contact with the Zuber fellow and have gotten our local police and the FBI involved since he planned to ship overseas.  I called FedEx fraud line as well and reported the account number he wanted us to ship through.  We will see how this goes.  Wish me luck busting this guy.
