- Paul-C| 2 repliesReceived a call on my mobile phone from this telephone number. No message was left other than a protracted length of silence on my voicemail. Other sites equate this telephone number to Verizon Wireless. I called VZW to see if they had called me. Was told that it was a scam call. Adding this number to my mobile phone's "Block" list.

- ACI answered this one; it's a robocall claiming to be from Verizon, saying my account was suspended and that I must press a number to be connected to a customer service rep to fix my account. I of course did not. There is nothing wrong with my Verizon account and if it HAD been suspended they couldn't have called me on my cell phone, duh!

- MarieI think its time for someone to put these people in their place I'M SO SICK OF THESE CALLS everyday ! if they cann't leave a message stop calling or get a real JOB
- Satanic_HamsterAs others have noted, scam robo call that asks for your Verizon account number and last four digits of your social. Entered random numbers, put on hold for a minute, then robo tells me all their operators are busy and they'll call me back in 30 minutes.
Who the hell falls for this? - PamProbably the same but the only thing I heard was Press #2. As soon as I see it's an 800 number and no ID as to who it is I hit the disconnect. What a pain in the butt. I no longer rush to answer the phone, I don't care who it is. If it's important they'll leave a message.
- Caller: Probably Verizon
- HerbI received a call from this number on my cell phone in Rhode Island. The message was two words -- Press 2. The scammer must be so desperate that he/she can't even leave a complete message.

- Herb Jr.Called at 10 p.m. said my Verizon account has been suspended. So I pressed 2 to yell at a customer service rep for calling so late. Asked for my pin so I hung up.

- SutraLeft a voicemail that’s meant to sound as if the first part, the company name, was cut off. Of course I’m not interested in their customer service, not after reading the postings here.

- Leo replies to Paul-C| 1 replyHa. I got the same message, saying it was Verizon calling and that my account had been suspended for 30 days and would be reactivated if I entered a code. Um, I don't think so. Whoever that was can go code themselves. ;/o
