    spam call from a computer recording, supposedly from Verizon.  Told me that Verizon wanted to reward me with $21 credit.  All I had to do was log into a website to claim the reward for the next bill.  something like myreward21.com

    Got the same message about redeeming $20 from Verizon.  What's funny (odd) is that I haven't had Verizon for 7 or 8 years now.  Called Verizon and was told this was a scam and not to got to whatever site it was.

    Claimed they were Verizon and said I had a new phone # that they’ve been recieving complaints of unwanted texts to others.

    Got the same just now. Threatened that they were sending a fraud claim to the FCC in two hours and this would affect my credit score. They knew the metro area I live in, but my mobile number area code is not from anywhere nearby.
