Caller claimed to be verizon customer service and said my service was being disconnected for verification??  If it was disconnected how did they call me on my cell phone instead of sending me a letter?  I just hung up on them..

Called today at 3:59pm on cell phone, automated recording saying it was Verizon Wireless and my account had been temporarily suspended and to please press 1, I know that my account is NOT suspended, I hung up, for sure spam..

Called on cell phone saying line was disconnected or deactivated. Hung up on them. They are fishing for your phone account information so they can transfer the number to their phone and use it to obtain the two factor authentication number you get when you log into one of your accounts.  These people are evil and seek to do great harm.

Called saying that my Verizon account had been suspended.  I pressed 2 to speak to customer service and it was obvious that they were trying to get information out of me.  SPAM  do not answer the phone

Same as above, auto message saying our account had been canceled & need to press a # etc
I just hung up. Hate all the scams 😡

I received the same message saying it was Verizon etc.  so much for the Do Not Call List.
I am blocking the number, hung up on the call!

What makes you think scammers care about the DNC list? Or are you one of those people who think it's a call blocker?

Recorded call saying my Verizon account was being suspended. I hung up on them. They called back 20 minutes later. Blocking the number. I haven’t had Verizon in over a year!

They said my service had been suspended and ask for information. I hung up and called Verizon myself and they said it was a scam.

Robocall at 815PM Saturday. Recorded male voice said, "Dear Verizon customer. Your account has been suspended. Press 1 to speak to a customer service representative."  That was where I hung up. I am NOT a Verizon customer and if I were, they would have known my name and not addressed me as "Dear customer." Obviously an overseas scammer script.

Received a call from UNKNOWN at 800-922-0306 today and they did not leave a message. I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number. I also received a call two days from 800-922-0402 and when you look that number up, it's the same scam as this one. I know my phone isn't disconnected because I'm on it every day!

I got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. It was 8:53 pm on Sunday night. That right there told me it was spam and not to pick up.

Same thing, Verizon account suspended enter your PIN number. B.S.  Just wrote the Pa Attorney General and the politicians. Time to make spoofing illegal and traceable and a criminal charge.

Got the same call. Addressed me by customer, said my account was suspended. A call back said the number wasn't available

I just recwivwd a call from this number. Recorded message stating they were Verizon and my account was deactivated. Gave me choice of prompts...I hung up on them.
