- JesseThey left no message but when I called back, someone answered saying it was some law firm asking if this was in regards to a new case. I hung up, I don't know who they are.
- EricI just got a call from this number offering a $30 rebate on my Verizon bill as well, the call directed me to visit a website, but since I'm a visual learner, I can't remember exactly what was said. (I often have to read things for them to make sense) It seemed they were not using a Verizon.com domain though, and likely a phishing scam.
- Caller: Claimed to be Verizon
- PatI too got the "receive $30 off your bill" call. I contacted Verizon with the customer service number from their actual webpage and she confirmed that this is a scam.
- Caller: Claimed Verizon
- WilliamVoice message says to log into my Verizon account for a $30 credit, but the phone number references over to a personal injury attorney in Scottsdale, Arizona. Logged in to Verizon....no such credit on the screen anywhere.

- anneI dont answer phone numbers I dont recognize that call my phone
- TheMegaATTENTION: THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!! I got the same Verizon message and I am NOT (and never again, ever will be) a Verizon customer!!!!!!!
It is a fake website address designed to gain your username and password.. plain and simple (then they order new phones at a local store - just busted a group on the news 2 weeks ago for this). Oh, and do not expect a credit if you get nailed!- Caller: Damned Hackers
- Call type: Prank
- BulldogThat number has been spoofed. It belongs to a law firm and they have shut the number down. It's not a real thing. This is a scam and if anyone has any idea of who is doing it there will be a reward for information leading to the arrest of this person or persons.
- NicoleI trust that everyone here is right about this being a scam, but in my case the message this number left in my voicemail just had something garbled/cut off and then "we care about you" or something similar. That was it. Dunno why it was cut off, but I think the exact same message was left on my phone several months ago... o_O
- SammyI just got a call from this number less than a minute ago. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. I am going to assume it was a scam call, and proceed to block it. Thank you everyone for posting your similar events.
- JimI had the tail end of a message from them on my voice mail tonight. I live in Colorado.
- FredReceived call from 800-922-1000, ostensibly from Verizon (I have an AT&T, however) and caught the last bit of a voice mail message directing me to a website. Smells like....SCAM!
- MarciaThe message was truncated, but included that I had a $31 credit and something about Verizon. I am not a Verizon customer.
The call was an automated call. - AzFake. Scam. Claimed to be Verizon. Press 1 to verify on automated system. Press 2 to speak to rep—still waiting so I can play with their time like they playing with mine.
