- bbCalled my cell. A female left a mumbled message I could not understand. I think I heard something about Verizon?
- jj| 1 replyAl lady with a Jamaican - like accent said I was ti receive a $34 credit to my Verizon Bill my visit a website. It was something like verizon34.com not sure if that is the exact address. I don't have a Verizon account so I'm sure this is a scam
- NickAnswered. Call was from "Verizon" saying I had won 34 "dollar" and to go to verizon34.com went there and entered in funny info. Then it takes you to a separate website where it asked for the same info and the last 4 of your ssn. Filled a report with FBI.
- gjamesGot a pre-recorded call about something about verizon, saying to go to "verizon thirty-four dot com". Started talking before I could get the phone to my ear. Sounded similar to scams that were sent out as text messages last year.
- robertSame as others. Pre recorded, garbled ms claiming I won something. Verizon association implied. Called # back and Ms said number not in service.CLEARLY NOT LEGIT
- MeetooGot garbled message about 34 or 64 dollar credit and also heard Verizon, but message was cut off. Googled the phone number and it shows as a number for West Real Estate at different locations in Pennsylvania. Received notification from our IT dept that an e-mail from Verizon.34 is a scam.
- Terry Danek| 1 replyScam call t 8 am on Saturday - clearly a scam on my husband's phone.
- Realm Warrior| 1 replyGot a similar call. Supposedly Verizon was going to give me $34 on my next bill, so I looked around for similar stories to see if it was a scam. Looks like it now.
- Caller: Supposedly Verizon
- Call type: Prank
- Michael Miller replies to Terry DanekGot a message at 8 am saying something about $34 and Verizon. Wife and sister in law got the same call a few days ago. Hard to make out exactly what they said, but I doubt Verizon would leave such a poor quality message.
- Gray Lensman| 1 replyReceived call at 8:00 am from 800-922-1235. Recorded message from woman with heavy accent (call center sounds in background) saying "You have been awarded $34 from Verizon. Go to www.verizon34.com and log in to your account and $34 will be deducted from your next bill.. Verizon appreciates your business."
- Caller: Claimed to be Verizon
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ZsuzsiBoth my husband and I got a call from this number about 10 minutes ago. Neither one of us picked up, they left the same, hardly intelligible voicemail message saying ........... we care about you, have a nice day.
- Sara| 1 replyI got a call on my cell phone from this number and let it go to voicemail. As in the other reports, it was a pre-recorded message directing me to visit verizon34.com "to claim my 34 dollars." Part of the message was a voice-over, but the last part was a lady with a heavy accent with noise in the background. My first thought was it was a scam, and looking through these other reports, it definitely looks shady. Not falling for it.
- Mike replies to SaraYou from nj. I just got same call. 908 670 77 number
- Marccouldn't understand but like most callers heard something about verizon 34.
- MelvinJust received a call from difficult to understand woman - something about gift certificate from Verizon.
- Caller: Don't know - mentioned Verizon
- RJ BakerCould not quite understand caller but gist was 34 dollars free something.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Len| 1 replyThe wife and I have received several calls which we have IGNORED. No message left. Out of curiosity I entered the website that others were told to address. I use Norton Internet Security and they have a warning for the site verizon34.com that reads:

- D replies to LenWe just received the same garbled calls and messages on both of our cell phones this morning. I also tried to go to the web page and it was blocked by our security system. Most definitely fishy.
- AnonSame thing for me. Message said "www.verizon34.com. Simply log in to your account to redeem your $34. At Verizon, we care about you." Not a chance this is legit.
- MikeGot 2 of these today, from 800-922-1235 and 800-922-2345. Both were the same recording. Don't go to the website.
