Called 2/2/14  at 1;44p.      I received a voicemail on my Verizon cellphone of a recorded voice from 800-922-2346 that claimed to be from Verizon, though the voice quality and accent of the speaker made it hard to understand .   The gist of it was I should go to 34Verizon.com  and "Simply (uninteligible) account information to receive your $34.00."     I did a quick check of the Url at 'www.networksolutions.com' and it comes back to :

The very poor quality of the recording, minimal English speaking ability of the speaker and the recent creation date of the website--which is clearly not Verizon--indicates a fraud, probably intended to steal Verizon subscriber info.    Though tempted, I didn't log onto the website as it's probably loaded with malware.

Received a voice mail supposedly from Verizon although parts of message were very unclear.  Said something about a $34 credit and to go to "34verizon.com" but that is not a valid site.  Normally messages from Verizon are very clear to understand - not this one.  Woman had an accent and mumbled.

I got a call and the person said I had a $34 credit to my next month bill if I went to verizon34.com and entered in my account info. I'm pretty sure this is a scam seeing as I do not have verizon....

I received a call from this number saying to go to www.myverizon34.com to receive a $34 credit on next months bill... When I logged in my browser warned me this was a "phishing" website designed to trick me into disclosing login info, passwords, or other sensitive info by disguising themselves as Verizon.  BEWARE!!!

My husband just received the same call and didn't answer. They did leave a message but couldn't make out what she was saying in a thick accent and lots of background noise.  They claimed to be Verizon.  Not!

I received a call Tuesday, 9/9/14, from 800-922-0204 claiming to be Verizon with a recorded message (it was English)saying I "won" $36 to apply to my account in any way I choose.  It told me to go to 36verizon.com.  I did log in but didn't see any promotions.  I verified with Verizon that it is a scam and they will monitor my account for any discrepancies and will contact me accordingly.  My situation is basically the same as above, just a few differences.
