- Disgusted| 14 repliesThis is a collection agency, Account Management Systems, that disturbs people at work.
- Caller: Account Management Systems

- Honest collector replies to Disgusted| 2 repliesSo was the purpose of the call to disturb you or to bring to your attention a legitimate debt that you owe??
- HONEST BILL PAYOR! replies to Disgusted| 2 repliesYOU WONDER WHY SO MANY COMPANIES ARE GOING OUT OF BUISNESS THESE DAYS,
IT BECAUSE SERVICES ARE REDERED DUE AND PAYABLE UPON BILLING...AND WHEN YOU DONT FOLLOW THRU WITH YOUR MORAL OBLIGATION TO PAY YOUR BILL THEN IT GETS TURNED OVER TO A COLLECTION AGENCY.
FURTHERMORE IF YOU PAID THE BILL OR IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING THEN PROVIDE PROOF AND MOVE ON!
SOMEONE HAS TO COLLECT ON THESE BILLS RIGHT? - ANONAMOUS replies to Disgusted| 6 repliesYou own your home and pay that bill monthly...why not your Medical bills?
Its people like you that keep Collectors employed!
Thank you! :) - anonymous replies to ANONAMOUSThis company could be nicer to the people who answer the phones at the places where these debtors work. Afterall, it isn't our fault they are trying to collect a debt and where I work the employees are not near phones so the best I can offer is to take a message. I am not responsible for making these people return the calls. So please don't punish the poor people answering the phones at businesses you are calling. We didn't incur these debts and have no way of helping you aside from taking messages. If you insist on calling repeatedly, please at least be pleasant to the message takers. (In other words, don't shoot the messengers!) Thanks!
- WOW| 6 repliesIf people paid there bills and had some integrity they would get calls from collection agencies. How about some personal accountability people!
- collectors-r-criminals replies to WOW| 5 repliesSupervisor breathing down your neck today? Havin' trouble with that quota? You know if you were good at your job you wouldn't have to come on the COMPLAINT board during your break LOL. I see a beautiful cardbox box home in your future ... and there's no autodialer in it. Now it's back to the boiler room with you, make the most of it!
- seriouslyill replies to ANONAMOUSHey Mr or Ms. insensitive some of us have Nothing because of our serious Medical problems and cannot work to pay it. So what should we do not get medical care and DIE!!!???
- Lashanda HamiltonWhy are most collectors poorly spoken, marginally educated hoodlums who use broken English phrases such as, "Ax me" instead of "Ask me" or "He be trippin'" rather than "he's not making sense"? You would see a marked increase in revenues if you hired moderatly literate collectors. When I hear some fellow brother or sister using that hood rat speak, I cringe thinking how you sound. As a black woman I take offense to your word choice. The Indian call centers use better grammar - and you know how they sound.
I prefer literate, compelling, well spoken collectors who have the power to assist the person who is having financial difficulties. If a collector is nice and cheerful, I tend to respond more positively. When you have rent, groceries, gas, and credit card bills, and then someone calls about something my health insurance didn't fully cover, I respond better to a helpful counseling voice rather than a put on mean voice from some high school flunkee. I want to speak with someone with reason and kindness.- Call type: Debt collector
- Ray Farker replies to HONEST BILL PAYOR![***] you.I hate credit.I payed cash for what I own.I pay my taxes.I owe nobody.Yet they call me.So you people think its because you owe money.
Its not.[***] you.come off your high horse. - AK| 1 replyThis company is harassing us regarding medical bills submitted in my 17 year old daughters name. A bad data entry error or what ever the reason, they are uneducated morons! I detest speaking to them, and if i am threatened one more time of this being placed on her credit report... God help them, its over to my attorney.
If they would listen and do the minimum diligence and research their claim, they would have their own answer. I'm done trying to explain it to them. So if you morons are looking at this site, which it looks like by some of the comments above. Lets take it to the next step. I dare you to call back!- Call type: Debt collector
- Informed replies to AKA minor can be held liable for medical charges due to the the law considering them "statutory adults" when it comes to healthcare. Maybe you should do a little research before you post.
- LegalMIL| 3 repliesCollections Agencies are a business that BUY risky bad debts (or not) for pennies on the dollar and use harassment tactics to collect not only the amount owed, but whatever they feel they can tack on to the debt. The person calling is paid on commission and they don't get paid unless they collect the debt. I can only imagine that most people responding to this post are employed as debt collectors. Even if you show proof that you are not the person who owes the debt, or the debt is taken care of through the original provider, they don't care - they will harass you forever, because they especially don't like paying for debts that have already been paid. They are only out to make money and they don't care how they get it as long as they get it. NEVER pay a debt collection company - pay the original owner of the debt. Even if you pay it, they could still sell it to someone else.
If you don't believe me, check with an attorney. Every county has free legal aid.- Caller: Account Management Systems

- Informed replies to LegalMIL| 2 replies90% of collection agency's work for their clients, that is the party who provided goods or services that have not been paid. They work on a contingency basis just like and attorney. Even if the paper was purchased it is still from a company who is DESPERATE to get some return on the money they are owed and would rather receive pennies on the dollar and let someone else deal with the people that refuse to handle their legal obligations. I am a bill collector and I would love to be out of work in this field. I could just as easily be taking phone calls from people calling their creditors to pay their debts instead of having to chase people down doing all they can to avoid their obligations. Remember every time you feel that you have to pay too much for goods or services that about 1/3 of that cost is inflated to cover for the people that dont pay, does that make you happy? Bottom line you owe it you pay it, or just dont answer your phone and keep ignoring your obligations.
- Not about legit debt collectors. replies to Informed| 1 replyWhile there are legitimate debt collection services out there, this board is not about them.
Why do you apologists spams these threads with your crap? Yours is a better written post than most (I'm seriously going to give my bank info to some f**cktard who can't talk --or yells-- and cannot or will not give me any info on the loan. Sureeeee!) but you obviously miss the sheer weight of evidence on all these threads.
One wonders why your ilk continues to come here. - Informed replies to Not about legit debt collectors.I continue to post because as a professional collection specialist I am trying to inform. I understand and am embarrassed by the rude, uneducated, undiscipled bill collectors out there. My main point is this is a necessary industry due to the fact that people do not care for their obligations and must be tracked down. On there other hand there are also those that have moved or had a typo make their address incorrect (this recently happened to my Grandmother) and end up in collections. These cases tend to be handled quickly and happily by the parties on both ends. Our clients do not have the same skip-tracing technologies or the time to track people down either way. There are rude and uncaring people in every industry, for example I am a generous tipper but have occassionaly left no tip due to the servers attitude or poor service. Also remember this we have to deal with abuse constantly, we get cussed out all day and are unable to rebut in kind. I am not suggesting I want to sink to these peoples level just remeber there are always two sides.

- coco replies to Honest collectorlol you're a collector. somebody called me from this number asking for another person that I know. It put me in a wierd position and legally I didn't have to tell this person anyway.. so I placed myself on the do not call list. It's obviously an agency who has no regard for people. Called me while i was at work.
- coco replies to Honest collectorP.S. don't collectors buy pennies on the dollar? It's kind of an oxymoron that you're giving these people here the speech on honesty... ( i made the inference on honesty)
- Alfredo replies to I. P. DailyI got a call from this company collecting on a debt. The problem is that I never bought anything from the business they claim I owe. Someone under my name or similar, made a check that bunced and they are chansing me for the amount owed. What do I do?
