I recieved a call from this number on 10-5-2014, stating that I if I loged into verizon I would recieve $50 off my phone bill

I recieved a call from this number on 10-5-2014, stating that if I logged into verizon I would recieve $50 off my phone bill. There is no web site www.verizon50.com

I received  a call from this number on 10/5/14 saying I would receive a $50 reward from Verizon  if I went to the Verizon 50.com website to accept my reward.  

SCAM!! They are using a fake cybersquatting website that looks like a genuine Verizon Wireless website to capture your account login and password. Once they have it, they will change the password, add their own devices and run up thousands in fraudulent charges before you find out and regain control of your account.  The fake site will actually pass your login and password to the real site so any errors get reported back making the fake site seem legit.

I don't have verizon and I got the call to ...shame shame on the scammers !

This number called my mom and said she earned a $50 verizon gift card if she logged into her account. Gave no website.  The website other posters listed is currently down, maybe the scam gas been quickly shut down.  When she called the number back it said the voice mailbox was full.

Yep, I am Verizon and got the call on 10/5 at almost 9:00pm on a Sunday, didn't answer when I called back it said the mailbox is full. My signal that it was an unwanted call.

I got this call on 10-5-2014 at almost 9:00 PM.  The message said I earned $50 from Verizon.  I figured it was a scam because I don't have Verizon and haven't in years.
