This number calls me but never - ever leaves a message.

It's someone claiming to be from Citi Financial. For me it's always the same person asking to verify some loan informaion so I hang up on them.

This IS CitiFinancial.  The number is actually listed as a customer service contact number on their website (ironically enough if you wish to be placed on their do not call list!).

You would think if they really wanted to verify information they would leave a message, it's a lot less shady that way

If I wasn't who I said I was when I opened the CitiFinancial account, then why would they assume that the phone number I supplied is going to reach the real me?  If they call the number and get the guy that forged the account, then asked him if he would verify that he opened the account, wouldn't that be kind of stupid?

They should still leave some kind of message.  I screen all calls I do not recognize.

called me today. was a fast and easy call just asked my address a name. and then said have nice day. easy as pie and yes i would like some too!!

Was called, caller said they were calling on behalf of Citifinancial regarding a loan I had made. Asked if it would be okay to record our conversation for training purposes? (The call came in at 8:05 p.m.) I was asked to verify my name and then the last 4 digits of my social. I told the caller who identified herself as (Sally Jones?*!) I asked her to give me a call back number so I could call her back and asked if I could reach her by asking for Sally Jones, she replied yes and gave me the 1-800-922-6235 number.

I returned her call at 8:08p.m. after a quick check of the phone number on surfwax.com. It was just three minutes after her call, I reached a recording giving me the business hours for Citifinancial being from 8a.m. to 6p.m. Monday thru Friday and asked to call during working hours.

Yes it getting illegal info

This number called my cell this morning with a recorded message saying that it was the IRS and that they had charges against me for tax fraud. Nothing but Scammers

IT IS CITIFINANCIAL.

"Brian Young" advised me that he could get a modification of my loan with CitiFinancial even though I had been in Chapt 13 BK. I gave him my attorney's phone number and of course he did not call my attorney. The number that he left was 800-922-6235 and that number had an elaborate tree of messages and email options that were very suspicious. The announcement was for CitiFinancial in Guam. Scam all around!
